10/7/2014 08:05 | As already said, nice set of posts last night, Arron. Thank you. Do you have any idea how a supply agreement might work (I do realise that it's only speculation and there are many possibilities)? Would it be that a customer pays, eg, for IO.7 upfront and then takes iodine at a fixed price (say 42 USD) for free to get the money back on the plant and then x amount guaranteed supply (at a fixed price?) thereafter? I'm not really too sure how they work. I'd just be interested to know how you see it possibly (and I stress "possibly") working. | ![]() madchick

10/7/2014 07:44 | Chile ports workers are on an indefinite strike again. 'The strike, which started on July 8th, has been organised by Union Portuaria and affects operations at a number of key Chilean ports. According to Inchcape Shipping Services, operations at Iquique, Tocopilla, Caldera, Huasco, San Antonio, Lirquen, San Vicente, Coronel and Puerto Montt have been affected. - See more at: Copper prices tend to spike in such times. It could be relevant of it drags on and certainly annoys customers re delays, so good to be chatting about supply agreements at this time. | ![]() superg1

10/7/2014 07:25 | I'm always prepared to short an over valued stock , at one point iofina was hopelessly overvalued , it's now a good buy . Cardinal rule of investing - don't fall in love with a company or stock . | mister big
10/7/2014 02:06 | You have a player sitting on here, shorting you and then only buying under 50? You Cheltenham Chumps need to scratch your thatched heads a bit harder ;) | n3tleylucas
10/7/2014 02:03 | Why isn't Arron pushing this stock up? | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 23:39 | My theory is the company is going bust, you simply delayed it ;) | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 23:37 | No manipulation - your theory is the company was going bust ,and it successfully raised money . Therefore you were wrong . Case closed ! | mister big
09/7/2014 22:51 | So nearly 5.1m shares? You're just mopping everything sub-50 up? Some would see that as a 1-way bet ;) I do, but not up ;) | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 22:42 | Look, you're trying to cover-up your statement that this didn't need funding just before you funded. The word 'need' is obviously what you're trying to manipulate. For whatever reason it was needed. | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 22:42 | Or under it I should say | mister big
09/7/2014 22:37 | Plus there is one shed load of oil and gas on Atlantis !! | mister big
09/7/2014 22:37 | Just below 4% - the question on cash shows a fundamental lack of understanding - the company could sell assets , slow expenditure ie mothball 5 and 6 , reduce head count ( which it's done anyway ), sell 250,000 acres of gas and oil field that is smack in fracking central , it could sell iodine chemical sticks cheap to raise cash , it could go to a bank and borrow against land rights or equipment , asset finance , or it could do something really smart and borrow on a long term basis , sensibly and without pressure. Production is rolling steadily and next few months io5 and 6 , will go online and we should hit 70mt a month , 800/ 900mt a year. It made sense to be well funded and move forward , In my business we do forward funding deals all the time and with size , scale and predictably these will start to flow - iofina can build plant to generate low cost production on long term basis for companies that want secure long term supply. | mister big

09/7/2014 22:27 | Why don't you construct your sentences more appropriately? Most of the world has a decent standard of education, why haven't you? | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 22:22 | No, you either need money or you don't, we're not dancing on heads of pins here. | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 22:22 | Arron, Good posts, especially about up front funding, interesting. | ![]() che7win
09/7/2014 22:19 | You announced your original holding before the market knew here, so why not just say how many? It's not a trick question. | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 22:06 | Sorry balance sheet - | mister big
09/7/2014 22:04 | You can be sure I did my homework in detail before handing over $5 bar as we would say in rsa ! When my stake requires an announcement it will be made . I don't think iofina needed the cash , it made sense to have cash to move forward after consolidation of existing plants with mobiles . If you are arguing the company should have a weak balance and be forced to make decisions from a position of weakness - then I have to disagree . The company is bang on target to their original re worked plan , and clearly production levels will fluctuate . | mister big
09/7/2014 21:48 | Look Arron, you said before your funding that this didn't need funding. How many shares have you now? | n3tleylucas
09/7/2014 21:42 | Mineral extraction and resources is a tricky business . We have had numerous delays in the diamond mining business , mainly caused by bad specification on crushers , filters etc - you could carry on with what you have that's not particularly efficient or you can modify ( time delays ) and get it right . It's trial and error . On one mine the delay has been six months but now we are really moving ahead . In iofina's case they rushed to build plants ( without thinking it through ) under pressure to get volume up .. I see the company is slowly moving to correct these issues and I expect production to get more uniform in time . With volume will come supply contracts and income . The technology is proven and I would expect the next range of io7 plus to be deals with end users where funding is provided upfront . Probably more mobiles. This approach does not require share holder capital and we will see growth next year , once we hit 50 to 60mt a month . Cash flow is already positive and I think iofina set to be a major producer in time , if everyone is patient they will make out like bandits ! | mister big |
