08/7/2014 20:07 | Oh Arron, if you could have seen the days when Graham & I argued long and erm hard into the night... They were good days Arron, the best ;) | n3tleylucas
08/7/2014 20:01 | Netley, you seem much more polite than before ! | mister big
08/7/2014 19:46 | Well that's one less worry Graham... now make some money ;) | n3tleylucas
08/7/2014 19:44 | The earthquake game. Oklahoma has around 800 per year anyway and rarely anything of note. Most of any interest seem to be around the Oklahoma city area, 150 miles from where IOF operate. The biggest in the last few decades in the area IOF are in was 19 years ago at 4.1 on the scale, which is not a problem in earthquake terms. | ![]() superg1
08/7/2014 19:12 | A lot of companies do end of half trading updates. These tend to be a couple of weeks after the end of the period. Hopefully they will be able to report IOC had a record six months. Its reasonably certain from the earlier figures that iodine production for the period should be in the 130-150mt range. With IO#1 production likely to be affected by the testing that is going on there and possibly some downtime on 3 and 4 whilst improvements are done production could well be down on May but we will have to see. I'm of the thought they should go to quarterly production updates once the six plants are fully up and running which probably won't be for a couple of months yet. | monty panesar
08/7/2014 18:25 | Thanks netley - had open order to buy at 49.50p and the result ; Hi I bought 40k today at 49.3. Will try with the balance tomorrow Theres no real volume buying or selling - | mister big
08/7/2014 17:45 | Don't worry girls, Arron has offered you all 50p a share ;) | n3tleylucas
08/7/2014 17:36 | Maybe the quakes have disrupted comms so much that the operational boys over there can't get the production figures to the RNS scribes over here!!! | ![]() noujay
08/7/2014 17:23 | Oh dear, that's not good news... is it? | n3tleylucas
08/7/2014 17:18 | Apologies if this has been posted before: | ![]() backwoodsman
08/7/2014 15:09 | Well done che7win. News flow keeps coming from them, and an update every Monday too. It all hinges on the flow tests in a few months time. | ![]() bobbyshilling
08/7/2014 12:04 | RNS's usually follow a board meeting where all the directors are available to say 'aye' etc. No panic here for me....it will happen later in the week. | ![]() angel of the north
08/7/2014 11:29 | Bocker: you're probably right. That's the tantalising thing: could be delaying to find a sweetener for disappointing figures or aiming for a blockbuster :-) | engelo
08/7/2014 11:25 | Alphacharlie: and then we can move on to the highly promising outlook for H2 as Bocker says....and 2015 :-) | engelo
08/7/2014 11:25 | Why believe they are not going to tell the market? It's the half year! You don't give figures at the end of month 5 and not month 6 . I'd be very surprised if there is not an announcement that we like shortly! | ![]() bocker01
08/7/2014 11:18 | Agree with all three of your points engelo (22596)even if figures aren't good for June and IO5 & 6 aren't up and running. Just tell the market and give any reasons, explanations or other comments that add transparency. | alphacharlie
08/7/2014 11:13 | bocker, spot on. | ![]() che7win
08/7/2014 11:13 | Stop whining and be patient | patrich2
08/7/2014 11:11 | Forgetting June, I think we are likely to see two material jumps in production one in July and the other, August, as 5 and 6 come on line. Cost reductions will be further confirmed and I imagine the market will be looking at 1000 tonnes of used/sold iodine for next year and good profits. | ![]() bocker01
08/7/2014 11:02 | All I am asking for is common sense. Yes they have had the June figures for days now, and common sense is that they should be published, good or bad.Their own forecasts say that I05 and I06 should be operational by now. Common sense is that they should be announced.DOn't hold with the theory that RNSs Are expensive and need to be stacked up. 2 RNSs are frequently better than 1, and certainly better than none ;-) | engelo
08/7/2014 11:00 | I agree that they are probably waiting to report the hookup of IO5 at the same time... | ![]() cyberbub
08/7/2014 10:54 | Before the May figures there were rumours all was well. This time no rumours and no figures yet? I wonder whether they are waiting for some 'good' news to put out with the figures if there has been a reduction due to the impact of fracking? | freshvoice
08/7/2014 10:33 | End of June is the half year. It would be a strange time to stop updates. Most likely they are waiting to add further news on costs and hook ups. No update at this time, at the half way point, would be rather incredulous and is, I think, rather unlikely. | ![]() bocker01 |
