09/7/2014 08:01 | seem to recall IOF commenting on their insurance, wonder if production curtailment through storms is covered (obviously plant will be) | orslega
09/7/2014 08:00 | That's what we need. Transparency. Just tell it like it is and we all know where we stand. The weather is always going to be an unknown and beyond control and the IO5 & 6 situations are OK and progressing - no surprises here. Lets see how the market responds. | alphacharlie
09/7/2014 07:58 | if so suspect Mr B might add a few... | orslega
09/7/2014 07:56 | I suspect Mr Market might take us down a few pence today, but IMO it's a buying opp for people who can see the medium term... | cyberbub
09/7/2014 07:54 | Very encouraging report for June, IMO. The lower production for external reasons does not concern me given the strong exit rate, the profitability and the encouraging sales report. Given the detail generally, the fact that the plant struck by lightening is not actually named stands out. Good stuff though.. | hew
09/7/2014 07:52 | With 5 & 6 up and running the risk is diversified further. No news on PODS/mobiles, so hopefully this is developing to plan behind the scenes. Growth can at last be seen though quarter on quarter. | danster4
09/7/2014 07:51 | Suppose that 2014 has acted as a stress test on the plants, which have passed :-) Impressive. Suppliers affected more than us :-) | engelo
09/7/2014 07:48 | This sounds good. There is good demand for IOF's iodine, and supply agreements were talked of at the AGM. So whatever we produce can be sold, and at a decent price: "The iodine market continues to be challenging, but the Company saw iodine prices remain steady in June. We continue to have strong interest in long term supply agreements with multiple Iodine customers. These agreements would allow the Company a built in hedging mechanism from price volatility. The Company had near record sales again for the month which demonstrates good demand for our products." | gwinear
09/7/2014 07:45 | Cyber says it all really. No move up on this I'm afraid.IMO we've been unlucky with the weather (again): OK risks are worse than I thought, but hope this is an exceptional year. Plants appear very resilient tho.Pity that all main plants have been late, but guess it doesn't matter any more.Much to look forward to. | engelo
09/7/2014 07:41 | solid update and near record sales....400MT is easily achievable - remember restricted Chesa brines atm, wonder how that may change the production numbers : ) .....sound like the Japanese are lining up a long term supply agreement....plus others : ) | orslega
09/7/2014 07:38 | Yeah Oklahoma is a bit of an unforgiving sort of place it seems...Happy that 400mt production guidance for the full year has been maintained... as I suspected, I think Lance was underpromising when he said that, to give a little wriggle room for things like this...Onwards and upwards, I still hope for 100p by Xmas if all goes to plan...NAI | cyberbub
09/7/2014 07:36 | I like the quote at the end "The strong June production exit is very encouraging." It looks like that without the storm disruption, we would have been around the same as May at 40MT, so around a 600MT run rate on 4 plants currently. That will also improve as fracking disruption tails off later in the year. Glad to see the improvement in IO3. Also good to hear we have plants 5 and 6 commissioned this month, so a step change in production going forward. Interesting comment from Lance about iodine prices, "Company saw iodine prices remain steady in June", so I would suggest that Indmin is at least 6 weeks behind the curve. So double the production from quarter 1 and a further jump in quarter 3 coming, we remain on track. Maybe now, some buying interest comes back. | che7win
09/7/2014 07:30 | Electrical storms in the summer and freezing conditions in winter! Fracking here there and everywhere! Trouble brewing due to earthquakes...... No hiding place for IOF! | ammons
09/7/2014 07:27 | Profitable for the month, and good exit rate. Should have all 6 plants running before end of month. Looks good for august! | owenga
09/7/2014 07:23 | Overal fairly sound. Great news that IO5 and Io6 will contribute in full in August. In fact, August should be a stormer! After which fracking schedules should calm down too. All in all looking good! | bocker01
09/7/2014 07:16 | Not bad numbers... 92mt for the quarter on 4 plants. 400 mt for the year certainly looking probable | 1madmarky
09/7/2014 07:13 | Production update out. A little disappointing but perfectly understandable given the extreme weather. IO5 and IO6 on track to be operational this month... | cyberbub
09/7/2014 01:50 | Uh ho.... Netters is bad enough (but manageable), but when Dr Beng turns up on a thread, it ends up wrecked. | festario
08/7/2014 20:52 | Not too fussed about shares tbh, just like the craic. | n3tleylucas
08/7/2014 20:12 | If he has followed my track record he should have ! I increase my stake in STM from 12% to 16.5% and the price is up 20% in a week . Lol - maybe he is mellowing .... | mister big
08/7/2014 20:10 | ...and no, you cannot hire me ;) | n3tleylucas
08/7/2014 20:09 | Has netters gone long?? lol | cyberbub |
