People looking for a tip might do worse than check out VAST. Much riskier than IOF for sure... but potentially very undervalued on a 6-12 month timescale.. I have picked up a few today... no advice intended...

If it's sorted for the 19th then that's fine with me. My fear was either those involved not being available, or the guy doing all he could to make an excuse to the get the hearing into the next 90 day period limit, IE before the end of May.

I think Heart's 'advice' was that the 3 objections would take all year.

Reasons to smile yesterday and today :-) , maybe tide is at last turning to favour IOF as a company and bullish shareholders

You heard from whom?

My biggest worry is if the avatar heartwell ever says IOF is a buy.
His track record is 100% wrong so far (bit like Zak Mir on IOF then...)

Delayed iodine production update. Delayed water update on objections. I suspect I know why.
Judging by Iodine's past performance, it's pointing to a really bad start to 2015 for shareholders

Selling has started. It's no wonder people are heading for the exit. Sub 20p coming"

Highest volume since 16th October. Institutions buying in? News from yesterday's meeting? Who knows? (Not a rhetorical question, would love to know!)

WRITZ I think our thinking is pretty well aligned. That is why I jumped in for another 50k this am @ 36p as a core investment.

I cannot see the IOF share price anywhere near these low levels 1 year from now. As a value investor I alway take a 3 year horizon for my core investments and play T20 longs in my trading account. If my T20's go wrong I buy the shares rather than take a loss like a margin caller would be forced to because I never trade uncovered T20s. I also never short as I believe the practice to fundamentally wrong and can hurt PIs who do not have the resources or the nerve to sustain a short attack on what in many cases is a sound share investment being manipulated.

On my income side, for example, I am buying Clarke T in some quantity because it hit a bump with a contract dispute a few months ago and made a divi cut to pay the penalty charges and the share price got hammered. Like IOF, however, the underlying performance of the company looks good with only 40m shares in issue. I am not recommending this or going off topic, just drawing parallels with IOF.

Just paid 40 for some more. And that's it. As you say, Cyber, onwards and upwards hopefully.

Edit. That's it... until it shows me it can decisively break the 40-50 level.

First time we've been in auction on the way up for over a year (well a long time) if my memory serves me right.

I think 60p is a more likely resistance than 50p looking at the chart, although we might need some more news (e.g. water permit awarded) to get there IMO.
