25/9/2020 11:27 | Just been to Heathrow T5 it's deserted. | ![]() montyhedge
25/9/2020 10:45 | Logan......but if they did this, the shares they owned , which they had sold the rights to, would devalue by more than the value of the rights they had sold. Unless of course, they sold the shares as well. For example Cruz was entitled to buy 95202 rights, so he would need to own 95202 shares. He sold 70810 rights for £33,364 and bought 24392 rights for £22,440. However, he would still have 95202 old shares remaining, which would devalue , as they have done, after the rights were issued. course, this may be irrelevant as Directors get share awards at less than the market rate , so he probably didn't pay for them in the first place. | ![]() m1k3y1
25/9/2020 10:36 | For every two rights the directors were selling on the open market they could buy one new share with the proceeds. What seems to have happened is that basically these directors got the new shares they picked up for free, with no need to put any extra new money in. | ![]() loganair
25/9/2020 10:10 | Watford....I think at the very least, it demonstrates a lack of confidence in the share price and commitment to the business by the very people who are meant to be supporting it. | ![]() m1k3y1
25/9/2020 09:59 | I guess "taking up" rights is different than buying or selling shares in normal market | ![]() watfordhornet
25/9/2020 09:58 | M1k3y1 - I disagree with a lot of thinks you say regarding IAG but have to admit this is scandalous if on one hand they are selling the rights issues to institutions at same time as selling out.I am very surprised the rights issue did not trigger a closed period - surely they have access to info e.g. how much interest/uptake on the rights there is etc. Very surprised they were able | ![]() watfordhornet
25/9/2020 09:45 | And that is why it is scandalous although I am sure the story will be that their personal finances did not afford them the opportunity of doing so | lufty
25/9/2020 09:42 | So, how can directors be advising that taking up rights at 0.92 cents is good for the Business when they aren't doing it themselves ? I wonder how Qatar will feel if they took up the rights but all these directors / managers didn't . | ![]() m1k3y1
25/9/2020 09:33 | Most of directors sold their rights on 18th September when the price was around €0.475. Just few sold between 21st & 23rd when price was €0.13-€0 | ![]() yousif
25/9/2020 09:28 | The second UK Phase 3 trial of a vaccine has been approved this morning. This has balanced out the scandalous behaviour of most of the IAG board with the rights issue. | lufty

24/9/2020 18:52 | m1 - Many of the directors selling many of their rights shows they have very little confidence in the IAG share price going forward. | ![]() loganair
24/9/2020 18:23 | Found it thanks Looks like 15 of the 21 Directors / Managers sold their rights, or some of them. Very low numbers Unfortunately no indication of what Walsh did.. Cruz Sold 70810 rights at 0.475euro and took up 24392 rights at 0.92 euro | ![]() m1k3y1
24/9/2020 18:18 | And the price still went down. Glencore director took all his rights issue at 120p in 2012 but the share price still went to 60p | ![]() spacedust
