Expect to see a whole bunch of new shorts tomorrow morning, as I guess they look on it as easy money.

This is not going anywhere near 60p. Do your due diligence and learn even basic fundamentals. Space would love this to go to 60p and is doing his best, I don't blame him either but don't be overly greedy. Still a multi bagger at this price, be smart, not greedy.

Bill ill give you my address i want that champayne bottle. I will 10 bag.

If you look at my posts last week youll see that is specifically said tgat once iag is 90p it will shoot to 110p ans evryone will staft suckling esch other off.

Its a false rally. 110p they will crush it. Shorters have this by the throats.

This will be destroyed all the eay to 60p.......

gate, you'll kick yourself if this jumps to £1.50 over the next few weeks, which it could easily do

markets look ahead as you all know, and any whiff of a safe vaccine to hit the market and a 100% rally is almost inevitable from here

Or maybe to see all these and seek a better home or buy back in lower down the chain or just take the loss gatehill.

I am buying at 86(R1) and will sell at 600 in 2022.

Thanks for the comments. I am already sitting on a loss (I imagine most people are!) and I would have to sell some other holdings which, I believe have more growth potential, to fund the purchase of ANY new IAG shares. So I guess it makes sense to just sell the rights.

Still, if you take up your rights you will help keep in BoD in style.

Gatehill. Ive ssid this on this thread many times.

You can buy from open market for 60p very soon.

With rights issue ill echo that they're there partly to make you feel special and priveleged. When they announce RI they make you believe shareholders are getting special discounted shares But soon joe bloggs buys from open market at a much lower rate.

I will buy at 60p and sell at 600p summer 2022.

gatehill, I would ask yourself:

What are your objectives?

Do you want to take a chance and hold out in hope?

Can you afford a loss?

If I have a profit, is it worth pocketing it?

I guess we will find out on Friday, just what percentage of the rights have been taken up and what is left for the underwriters to dispose of.

galileo suggested that the 'runners' would be supporting the share price up to friday and it seems that he may be right, given the DJ drop yesterday and the announcement from BoJo today, you would have expected a greater drop than that seen so far.

Maybe we will see it after friday ?

I hold my IAG shares through Barclays and have to decide today whether to take up the rights. Why should I take them up at 97p when I can buy new shares at 95.2p?
I may as well sell the rights at around 15p.

Help, please!

Corporate travel will come back but I agree not to the same level as previous as there is now a wide acceptance of Zoom and Team meetings for customer/staff/general meetings. The days of IAG at 600p are a long distant memory but I am still hopeful for 200p once/if a vaccine starts being rolled out.The question is whether IAG survives long enough as a public listed company

And it is the corporate trans-Atlantic passenger that makes 80% of IAG's profits.
