24/9/2020 08:32 | Survival rights issue to me, is like throwing good money after bad. | ![]() montyhedge
24/9/2020 08:27 | And will there be travel/quarantine restrictions for other greek islands in the next few weeks.Good luck don’t grouch if things change. | ![]() albert3591
24/9/2020 08:24 | I’m off to the Greek islands again next month, best time to travel, there are a few without 14 day quarantine restrictions upon return to the UK..good time to travel, less people, still nice weather, alfresco eating etc. An encouraging trading statement out of NEX today too, some nice buys around, dyor as usual..think longer term! | ![]() ny boy
24/9/2020 08:23 | Many posters on this thread are talking up the investment case for Easyjet, Ryanair, Wizz or Jet2, however do not do the same when it comes to IAG. IAG = Corporate passengers whereas as the likes of Easyjet = holiday makers. | ![]() loganair
24/9/2020 08:16 | Monty... you not watched the news? World and his wife off to Portugal, Croatia and everywhere in between, without a thought of the consequence. Bojo never imposed a ban straight away because he knew the importance of tourism. So it will be one of the first to get green lit for a return to normal. Don't get me wrong, that's a bad decision - but hey morals off when making money right ? | ![]() bennodean
24/9/2020 08:13 | Fair point Logan. Can't imagine some execs willing to give up a jolly though with trips to lap dancing bars and more whilst "on a work trip". Hearing already "zoom is great", "teams is extremely collaborative"...... | ![]() bennodean
24/9/2020 08:12 | No sane person will get on a plane until a vaccination. | ![]() montyhedge
24/9/2020 08:09 | The question is when bans are lifted, and that is not going to happen soon. Therefore not a lot of confidence for buying any aircraft tourism stocks anytime soon. | ![]() albert3591
24/9/2020 08:07 | ben - you've hit the nail on the head....holiday traffic will return very quickly however there is some permanent loss of the high margin, high profit corporate traffic which IAG rely on for 80% of their profits. | ![]() loganair

23/9/2020 18:48 | it is some random coincidence if true. the % falls are what matters most, number of shares in issue, debt, assets...so many differences. | ![]() careful
23/9/2020 18:36 | Space....Thank you | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 18:16 | Yes thats also very true. I dont believe iag will go bust but what ive learned is never say never. Tullow 1600p to 7p says it all. Glen fell to 58p i can assure you. I was in at 66p only to see it tank further. I sold out at 80p and kicked myself ever since..... But the 60p figure cannot be some random coincidence...... | ![]() spacedust
23/9/2020 18:08 | we are familiar with your list space dust. but you forgot to mention Marconi,Woolworths, Eurotunnel, Northern Rock, Carillian...... etc etc. Sometimes we lose the lot. Glen fell to 80p. | ![]() careful
23/9/2020 18:02 | Milky couple reasons.... Main reason...rights issue tend to halve by the very least. Other illogical reason. 60p tends to be hit for ftse 100 companies that get into trouble for whatever the reason might be.... here are a few examples: Man group 300p to 60p Glen 300p to 60p Barc 600p to 60p Evraz 600p to 60p Barrat 1200p to 60p There are many other examples and theyve all bounced off 60p and multi bagged. Ive seen this happen time snd time again. This doesnt mean IAG will follow suit but boy its getting close. Dont get me wrong ill probably start adding around 70p levels coz i aint no mystic meg i am just using experience and what ive seen happen that's all. Heres another prediction......many here will now post negative comments and continue to call me a deramper disillusioned, fool, numpty...and so on | ![]() spacedust
23/9/2020 17:18 | u no who u r | ![]() buywell3
23/9/2020 17:08 | Space....you definitely said that on the 15th . Good call. Can I ask why you say 60p ? Thanks | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 16:56 | So we will now continue with downward trajectory. Well done on selling at 109p. 60p was mentioned by me when the share price was 210p | ![]() spacedust
23/9/2020 16:55 | That was me ccr....look how accutate ive been yet got slammed for it spacedust - 15 Sep 2020 - 09:15:00 - 19592 of 20044 Should finish red 3 days out of 5 until 90p then back up to 110p then 60p | ![]() spacedust
23/9/2020 16:33 | Fingers crossed for you nortic | ![]() ccr1958
23/9/2020 16:24 | cant buy on hsbc - anyone else having problems? | ![]() tahmina1
23/9/2020 16:22 | Once placed they should go better | nortic 007
23/9/2020 16:21 | I managed to get an extra 33000 which could be the worst decision ever :)I think they're flat this afternoon so they can place the rump.... just my opinion | nortic 007
23/9/2020 16:13 | No ur friend has missed it ...might be glad ... I took my profit at 109p ..will watch ..60p callers to low .. and things will improve but how long ... whoever called 110p Top I am impressed.. | ![]() ccr1958 |
