23/9/2020 15:23 | What was the last day you can subscribe for extra shares? I'm not in this but a friend just tried and said he had missed it. Thought I had read it was the 25th? | 1msi
23/9/2020 15:13 | Another opportunity to buy coming up | ![]() fizzypop
23/9/2020 14:52 | On ii the payment was 86p! | ![]() tygarreg
23/9/2020 10:10 | Back out with 16% profit. Thanks IAG. | ![]() captain stock
23/9/2020 09:47 | careful....thank you. So ultimately, the underwriters will still have to pay IAG 0.88p per new share because they have underwritten the price of the new shares. BUT do they just get the shares at 0.88p, without having to buy the rights. If so, we would all like to be able to do that LOL. | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 09:39 | The rights price, what was it, 88p? Their gamble was if the market price for the shares/rights fell below this value. If anything, the underwriters are often tempted to massage the share-price down to get hold of the rights, which they may have pre arranged to sell to third parties. Shame on me for being so cynical, as if our honest, upstanding City operatives would stoop to such tricks just to make more money. 'He who trusts no one cannot be trusted.' | ![]() careful
23/9/2020 09:33 | careful....what price will the underwriters be getting the shares at . | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 09:31 | UK equities are at dirt cheap valuations and £ has lost value against US currency etc, perfect buying storm conditions | ![]() ny boy
23/9/2020 09:24 | you misunderstand. The underwriters would love to get ALL of the shares at the price they will pay. What a nice little earner, with their underwriting fee an extra. They will be placed with a few big institutions at a profit. no problem. | ![]() careful
23/9/2020 09:23 | galileo ...... you predicted this would happen but what will happen after friday when the underwriters have to offlaod the remaining shares that have not been taken up. | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 09:23 | Out with a quick 14% since yesterday Good luck to all still holding I'll keep my TUI for now | ![]() topazfrenzy
23/9/2020 09:20 | It's not only IAG that's rising. EZJ +6 CINE +14 even Carnival +4. And that in the light of a likely lockdown soon. Nothing in the News that would justify the rise (or have I missed something?) | stra3enkater
23/9/2020 09:20 | The problem with shorters they are blind to reason... BAs flights have started to increase... good luck to the brave buyers on Monday. | ![]() ccr1958
23/9/2020 09:16 | The uptick is due to the underwriters not wanting to be left "with a load of shares"They are buying in the market I believe | galileo8
23/9/2020 09:04 | Well done to all those who bought in in the last two days! The rest, you get nothing .. | ![]() topazfrenzy
23/9/2020 09:01 | carful...IAG will have more money BUT it is burning through it daily at the moment with little prospect of flights and loads increasing until well into next year. I do think this is worth investing long term but don;t see the reason for the uptick in the short term. The underwriters will be left with a lot of shares at the moment. | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 08:56 | there is a good reason for this to rise. It will be relatively cash strong after rights. It will survive and has been re valued to take account of the post pandemic world. but with a cap of £2.08bn, then everyone has gone Covid crazy. Risk/reward argument is compelling over 3-5 years. IAG made £3.5bn pre tax profit 2 years ago. valued at £12bn until recently. The shorts have had their fun, now it is time for the smart with an appetite for risk to buy. Are you suggesting that IAG will never make even £200m again? macenroe; you can't be serious. | ![]() careful
23/9/2020 08:56 | Is going to the pub worth coming home with this boris ? Covid-19 is way more dangerous that people believe COVID-19 can cause worrying neurological symptoms like a loss of smell and taste, but Australian scientists are warning the damage the virus causes to the brain may also lead to more serious conditions such as Parkinson's disease. It has happened before. Five years after the Spanish flu pandemic in the early 1900s, there was up to a three-fold increase in the incidence of Parkinson's disease. This disease leaves over 50% of those that get it with some sort of organ damage The brain being an organ Interpretation Study findings revealed possible disruption to micro-structural and functional brain integrity in the recovery stages of COVID-19, suggesting the long-term consequences of SARS-CoV-2. | ![]() buywell3
23/9/2020 08:55 | galileo said this would happen and explained why. I see no other reason for the share price increasing | ![]() m1k3y1
23/9/2020 08:55 | No normal 50% of Covid-19 Hospitalised recoveries will have a variety of long term organ damage 50% will never be able to work again | ![]() buywell3
23/9/2020 08:51 | This was classic Rights , kiss the price and bounce... I ain’t saying it’s over ,far from it but at 90p was overdone imo.. | ![]() ccr1958
23/9/2020 08:49 | Just ignore the noise, they turn up on various threads talking nonsense, as they don’t have any funds to invest, leave it to the experienced investors ..bye! | ![]() ny boy |
