07/8/2020 13:34 | This Vile company is cutting 20 per cent of the basic salary that makes up maybe 60 per cent of overall wage the rest are allowances which won't exist. A purser would be on 60 per cent of basic if taken on as main crew. Absolutely vile company and the way it's been handled a national disgrace all masterminded a little Irish being with bad teeth. | ![]() applepieinthesky
07/8/2020 13:25 | Correct !!! Some do currently earn more than 60k but also many earn less. Correct !!! The salary cuts are capped at 80% of their basic salary. I have seen the offer in writing | lufty
07/8/2020 12:03 | LUFTY.......incorrec Some are earning less than that. The pay cut is NOT capped at 20% reduction but then there are no pay rises . Regardless of length of service going forwards. In addition, some are being demoted from being in charge on a 747 / 380 with associated pay, to being main crew on the new 'one fleet'. | ![]() m1k3y1
07/8/2020 11:46 | I only said 50% coz of what this person said... | ![]() hamhamham1
07/8/2020 11:08 | Some are on more than that depending on seniority and length of service etc. The pay cut is capped at a 20% reduction but then no pay rises so cabin crew will not be going straight down from 60k to 30k | lufty
07/8/2020 09:42 | Were on £60k, now £30k ish? | ![]() davethehorse
07/8/2020 06:21 | Big day today, for cabin crew. Just out of interest, what does a cabin crew member who has been there a long time make with all the perks? They say it will be a 50% pay cut for them, all in? | ![]() hamhamham1
06/8/2020 18:46 | If it reaches low of the year I will start buying in tranches. COVID19 is just like flu and we have to live with it . Ppl are desperate to fly for holidays. COVID19 cloud should be less darker than now and on 12 months horizon we might have some sort of normality return to aviation industry. | ![]() action
06/8/2020 12:31 | Whenever someone has upper hand they misuse their power . It happens all the time. Look at history how Chins brought to its knees to lease HK to UK.Now China has upper hand and they doing exactly what UK did ie show the world who is in charge. | ![]() action
