I'm sat on a flight to Barbados. It's rammed. Most I ever paid for a ticket too. My wife was on a BA flight to Moscow on Sunday. Rammed. Gatwick airport was looking quite busy. If a flight is not full they have a great excuse to bump it and put all the passengers on the next plane. I reckon they are creaming it..

Singapore announced on Monday that it will track incoming travelers coming from a select group of countries – including residents and citizens – with electronic monitoring devices, starting on August 11.

Authorities framed the trackers as a positive for travelers, noting they would allow recipients to self-isolate at home. New arrivals will be ordered to activate the devices upon reaching home, at which point they are programmed to alert the authorities should the user try to leave or tamper with the device or if they leave home.

BA how earned a lot of bad press I think they deserve it as well.Willie Walsh does not help this company at all.in the past the big holders may have liked his hard line with staff,it’s come back to bite him gladly.

It will need more than a vaccine to bounce back, it needs the insurance market to step up to the plate and for airlines to guarantee money back, not vouchers or some questionable promises when customers have their plans cancelled through no fault of their own.

BA along with most others did themselves no favours when they did not return customers money as the law stated they should. If they had done that, they would now be the trusted first choice airline for all holidays.

I say the bounce back will be to around 80% of their previous market cap highs, share price recovery depends on number of shares in issue.

As soon as someone proves one vaccine works, markets will bounce back on that news. Even if it takes another 6 months to get to market.

I agree with timing of vaccine although stock market will start reacting well b4 people have been vaccinated.Any sign of reasonable successful vaccine will give investors comfort the bottom is near - even if it will be 6 months b4 mass production

There are plenty of vaccines in production - none will be available until next Spring. There are better treatments for Covid-19 tooSecond wave will never be as bad as first - at least everyone knows the risk now ?Unfortunately, airlines will continue to suffer for another 3-6 months, and they will have to adjust to "new normal"
