I think you would in minority.I would be back on a plane as soon as could for leisure. I think business travel will change forever but people will quickly start flying for holidays

Apparently HEPA filters in aircraft kill 99.9% viruses... And are filtering air 20 to 30 times an Hour..

I'd definitely get on a plane soon as, young and dull or probably immune to a level from having had positive Corona, somebody with a viral killing Aircon filter..?. Come on...

Monty obviously wants to keep his decrepit old body away from any chance of infection. I get that. Many under 50s with more of a chance of dying in an RTA this year than of Covid if they catch it. Monty can stick with the porcine faced brexiteers in Skegness, us 30-50 year olds are off on Our cut price holidays to Lake Como.

Monty, IAG will only be flying the capacity they need. It’s the benefit of having a diverse fleet of aircraft that can be changed at a moments notice. also have the benefit of a customer base that understands things will be disjointed for a while.

Now now he's obviously desperate for his hefty short position to come in. I'm a long term buy and frankly ignore wailers like that

Then you obviously don't understand how the cabin air works on an aircraft then if you "won't fly" because aircraft are "superspreaders". Perhaps research how the air con flows within the cabin, how the cabins have filtered air via vast HEPA filters etc etc etc etc - there's plenty of info online for you to learn about it prior to making an informed decision

If it makes the company stronger then it should be considered, how can IAG compete when every European airline is receiving enormous state handouts, their transatlantic business class the most profitable part, is going to see a large change in fortunes. So maybe it should be deemed necessary for them to receive some form of support.

CNBC reporting that Lufthansa rescue package includes German GOV taking 20% stake and having two people on the Board. Suspect IAG would want avoid this type of deal!
