26/5/2020 10:48 | Have you considered the 9+ billion they havePlus the restructuring Fuel prices Growth ? | nathandc
26/5/2020 10:00 | Sold a few at 228p - it was worth buying more recently, not a big fan of averaging down. | younasm
26/5/2020 09:39 | 225p, That will do nicely sir ! | eriktherock
26/5/2020 09:18 | Anyone not out has missed it. Dead cat bounce. Loaning billions to fund trading losses is fine to save jobs but those loans and interest get repaid before shareholders get anything. This share price spike up is fake. All imho. DYOR. Think about it. | silkstag
26/5/2020 08:37 | Anyone not in has missed it | nw99
26/5/2020 08:29 | Planning to buy on the big dips inbound from wave 2. Thing is, the policy response will not be the same. Lots of value across the market out there guys! | smithys2019
26/5/2020 08:20 | You can feel the positivity in the air today. I think we have seen the bottom of negative feelings. All boats (and share prices in all sectors) now rise in this tide, hopefully :) | hamhamham1
26/5/2020 08:06 | Buy all the way up | nw99
26/5/2020 07:55 | Governments will nationalize their major Carriers. 'One World'. | eriktherock
26/5/2020 07:47 | I'm not sure I will be adding to my holding. In fact, I will be selling into the rise this morning. Lufthansa have just received a bailout package with the German government taking a 20% stake in the company at a price of €2.56 per share, whilst the current Share Price is €8.63 That is not a good deal for the existing shareholders. A similar situation I see happening here, unfortunately. | gaspump
26/5/2020 07:33 | Buy now while under 250 | nw99
26/5/2020 07:29 | So we have Willy Walsh saying he has looked into all avenues to find funding but has failed. And now it looks like IAG are in for a government bailout! The transport secretary has already stated project birch was on its way, which is rumoured to involve the government taking about a 20% stake in companies. IAG is a great company, but just look at the share price over at Llyods when the government took a shareholding years ago. | gaspump
26/5/2020 00:59 | Agree. Will be lucky to get under £2 tomorrow. Will continue adding at these prices. | andyj
25/5/2020 22:53 | A Eurowings flight was heading to Olbia, Sardinia from Düsseldorf, Germany. However, as the Airbus A320 approached the Italian island, it had to divert back because the aircraft’s crew learned that Olbia Airport is still closed. The Italian Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport did reopen the airport for commercial air travel. However, only a few hours after the announcement was made, this decision was reversed. The plane entered a holding pattern northeast Sardinia for forty minutes. After confirming that there won’t be any clearance, Just over four hours after leaving the German airport the crew turned back to Düsseldorf. It is hard for passengers to confirm what the most up to date guideline is as countries are continually changing their measures. Therefore, airlines must consult with officials at the destinations that they are flying to before any flight takes off. “Against the background of the current corona crisis, the situation at numerous airports in Europe is very dynamic, which is manifested in the large amount of information provided on operating hours or airport closures that are often changed at short notice as well as daily changes in entry regulations in the various countries.” | loganair
25/5/2020 22:39 | I would expect an initial bounce here tomorrow morning, both volatility indexes (UK and Europe) are negative, a raft of good news and a clearer position of how lockdown may start to end at least across Europe is all over the news and Whitby was packed this weekend. | arai
25/5/2020 21:50 | UK GOV suggesting test kits should be available 'soon'. Ultimately, whether you test before or after , you're still going to need the test kits in all of the countries. I suspect though, that it may come down to 'acceptable risk' and people will either accept the risk , or not and Hospitals will have to manage the outcome. What airlines choose to implement, may well be left to them to decide, rather than governments . As long as the numbers infected don't increase substantially again, of course. | m1k3y1
25/5/2020 21:42 | M1k3y1, "the only answer is to be tested before departure. No good arriving somewhere and then being isolated. Just pointless." So do you think all flights should remain grounded whilst governments around the world buy and distribute millions of tests to all the airports. How long do you think that will take? Probably be late this year or next before tests are distributed... | sikhthetech
25/5/2020 21:25 | The facts are... Spain, Mexico, Italy, Turkey, Greece etc all opening up to foreign tourists Easyjet, TUI, Jet2, Lufthansa etc are starting flights from mid June onwards. We're all going on a summer holiday | robert heenan
25/5/2020 21:16 | Lufthansa bailout is 97% extra debt which carries 4% interest. Shares bought at 1/3 of €8 market price. Odd that Lufthansa holders dont realise they are about to be crucified by trading losses imho. DYOR | silkstag
25/5/2020 20:25 | sikh......the only answer is to be tested before departure. No good arriving somewhere and then being isolated. Just pointless. You need to confirm that you are covid free before leaving. As to how this would be implemented........n | m1k3y1
25/5/2020 20:22 | Nathandc "test them BEFORE be they fly back" Who will test them? Will a rushed test be reliable? What about corruption? eg 2 million Brits go to Spain in July. At what point would they be tested? Where would these thousands of passengers waiting for their results wait? What would happen to a family member who is tested +ve. Who would pay for them to be quarantined aboard and pay for the rescheduled return flights? What if it's a family of 4/6? Will flights wait until their passengers have received the results? with a 14 day incubation period tests won't always show a +ve result but the virus is still contageous, so passengers and flight crew could get infected? What about on the plane, trays, toilet handles, remote controls ??? so a person could be -ve before the flight and catch the virus on the plane... Very complicated isn't it? | sikhthetech
25/5/2020 20:17 | Why do you chaps not understand THE INCUBATION IS 14 DAYS FOR THE VIRUS So if you test on departure day it's no use wakey wakey | senn1 |
