Airlines will only move up with relaxation of flight restrictions. I have been adding on the dips - this could do with a 40-50p rise

careful....it should be on the salary you have paid yourself , not on declared profit.

I thought the advantage of being self employed is that income tax can be avoided.
Paying a grant based upon declared profit is a two edged source.

80% isn't bad, it's a liveable amount. Although if it's a 'taxable' grant it's probably nearer 65-70%?

Yep, but when they see what 80% of what they have been declaring to HMRC for the past 5 years, many will be disappointed!

Yes, I think so far the government has said no assistance until all avenues are exhausted - which effectively means not until your on your knees

Expecting an announcement from BA/IAG regarding redundancies, layoffs etc by this sunday when the HR1 notice expires.

BA already issuing layoff (not dismissal) letters to some crews.

I suppose it's because there's plenty of chatter about helping airlines. Seems the US is showing the most interest so far. I'm holding on tight!

how come this seems to have fallen more in proportion to the likes of Ryanair? Ryanair said they have liquiduity of €4bn as at 12 March

I can not see how this keeps rising, stillMonths of flight disruptions, low demand and cancellations.. maybe cheap fuel helps, but not by much if they are not using 75 percent of the fleet

Dround. I won't sell, like I say it's part of building a well rounded portfolio. Not overweight on any individual company or sector. Well spread.
Of my pot, I have put 1/3 to work over the past few days, 1/3 is available for any further drop and 1/3 will leave in cash, to make the most of any individual opportunities over time.
