25/3/2020 07:22 | No bailout for airlines So any potential part or full breakup of IAG is by choice . So may not happen at all .Convertible bond or other debt arrangement Dilution will hit the share price more soThe 9b cash is supposed to keep all Cos within IAG alive not just BA | ![]() jailbird
25/3/2020 07:08 | Its about how airlines raise the money to get through, if via loans then it's a buy, if via share dilution then it's not IMO. You need to hear direct from the companies, not rely on speculation elsewhere. | ![]() hamhamham1
25/3/2020 07:05 | I cannot see airlines getting back to profitability until middle of next year. Countries are unlikely to lift most restrictions on flying to be lifted until a vaccine has been developed. | ![]() amt

25/3/2020 06:57 | This really is punts-ville. Buffett buying into Delta 3 weeks ago has put Berkshire down by $19m. He would no doubt talk about the long view and he is obviously right so bear that in mind when you buy into IAG and you see the share price dip. "This too will pass" as the wise men said. I think I'm in tomorrow. Wall St is talking about the bottom being reached so it is now or never. (They coud be wrong of course.) The big ? is what kind of IAG will come out of the other side? Nobody but insiders know that and even they don`t probably know | quiggers3112

24/3/2020 23:33 | So when BoJo and Sunak say to the British public, 'we will do what it takes', actually they won't when it comes to saving the jobs of airline employees. I think they will regret this decision but we will see. | ![]() m1k3y1

24/3/2020 19:06 | I don't think IAG will need it . The skies will be open again within 2 months, if not sooner. Just my guess. RYA closing down for 2 months, except for rescue flights, cargo etc. | ![]() m1k3y1
