09/3/2007 16:08 | CAN,T see it being over-turned myself, because the usa government would lose alot of credibility. SO hopefully the dispute will be laughed off, and lockheed will give more details, of the other parties involved, soon. I,VE heard it could eventually involve 16 million people. so such an involvement would have a big impact on the igp s/p. im sure an involvement in twic, and the 40 government agencies. will see £1.50 + a share, when the company come out with some figures. So its the case of fingers crossed. ps i,ve also read, that usa government, are making more funds available, to make improvements to the twic port cards, which also points in igp direction. | ![]() igoe104
09/3/2007 15:39 | igoe It's a load of sour grapes and I am afraid once a contract like this has been awarded there is no going back. I see no point in looking for a resolution because it will never happen. Typical of US buinesses making a lot of noise. | aphrodites
09/3/2007 14:38 | TAURUS news of 40 agencies usa goverment contract, should be out anytime march, early april. which i expect verisign to win. an involvement in the twic contract, could happen anytime as well, there is an dispute has been put in, by a contractor that lost the contract to lockheed. once that dispute has been rejected, as expected" we will hopefully hear more details, about other parties that will be involved. THEY should also be another annoucement on who will be involved in the other 15 agencies as well. | ![]() igoe104
09/3/2007 14:21 | I don't use any one thing on it's own. I look at the chart and I see that it wavers around a lot on no news. I look at the likely newsflow and I see maybe something on TWICS, maybe some more HSPD stuff, but on both.... date unknown. I look at the US$ 500,000 for current HSPD stuff and note that it's not that big compared to last interims turnover of >1m quid, so no need to get excited on that score for the next results. And with cash burning away, whatever anyone says, there may be a need to raise more on delayed deals, though that might not necessarily be bad for the share price I look at what I suspect is investor psychology: namely, that IGP is not widely followed, and that we're heading into the northern summer. No news isn't likely to send the shares higher. I don't follow Elliot, wasn't he someone in ET? ;0) So what it boils down to, for me, at this stage and before IGP start earning from those massive 98% margins, is that if and when we get news, the share price may well move more than a few grudging pence. Knowledge is power and the MMs know that. As far as I'm concerned, all moves not based on news are largely meaningless at this stage, because news is all that MMs react to meaningfully. So I'm just accumulating below 60p. If I don't get another chance, I don't care, because that's where I draw the line at the moment. I don't chase shares, but I do buy at higher prices when time has moved on and IGP's prospects are closer to fruition. :0) | ![]() taurusthebear
09/3/2007 11:46 | Taurus As you may know I use the Elliott Wave Theory in much of my analysis but I never let charts dictate my decisions. I use them as a guide only. I think I posted here that the move up to 72p was possibly the 3rd. leg of the rise which is normally the strongest and I expected to see it move into the 90's. The set back to 56p was healthy and sets things up for the next rise but the side ways movement is strange. One thing it does show is that we are in a period of consolidation and who knows, if the news is very good, the rise from 30p to 72p might eventually show us that it was only the first leg of the 5! We are without doubt waiting for a new break-out and I do not think we will have to wait all summer. The chart supports my view and I am happy to be long of stock. | aphrodites

09/3/2007 10:37 | the MMs have just put a little trade of 5k as a delayed trade.. | ![]() jailbird
09/3/2007 10:24 | Buts that's a funny old chart, typical of an illiquid share. I wouldn't be surprised to see the price go up and down on small trades, so not in any rush to add above 60p. That's just MM games... until a decent RNS or two comes through, then 60p may well be history. We saw what happened in October when RNSs come out! Of course, the other side of the coin is that there's no significant news all summer and the price drifts. :0) | ![]() taurusthebear
09/3/2007 10:20 | The MM's have at last got the price back to the 62p level where they last supplied sizeable stock to me. It will be interesting to see if there is actually a seller around or if it was a deliberate ploy by the MM's to try and pull the price back. Whichever it is, the holders have not obliged by offering any sizeable stock around the lower levels. As I suggested any institution wanting to buy had the opportunity and will have now missed it. Any positive announcement will see this price back in the 70's and they will have to pay up for stock. It's the same old game. | aphrodites
08/3/2007 09:31 | O/T New SVS note released this morning on SMRT. Confirms WJ & Igoe's view that they are a couple of years behing IGP on global presence but highlights some pretty attractive numbers going forward (they imply another possible 10-bagger in the making over the next 3 years). 07/3/2007 13:02 | HOPEFULLY all 52 states will eventually be involved. and with it being hspd-12 standard, it looks good for you know who. | ![]() igoe104
07/3/2007 12:42 | igoe, that looks rather interesting. how many states are there to roll out across?! all seems to be going as hoped ie every identity card project is adopting to hspd-12 standard. | ![]() rambutan2
07/3/2007 12:36 | I think MMs are allowed to delay trades within NMS by up to ? hours. Also, they sometimes don't report trades - I bought 2 x 25k shares in IBG this morning and only one showed. I don't attach too much importance to the trade information, and don't want level 2. If buying or selling, I can get info about prices from firming of the bid, bid/offer quotes via my broker screen etc. Can buy more than sell online now so I'd say we still have our seller, and the price may well come back under 60p offer again. :0) | ![]() taurusthebear
07/3/2007 12:35 | Actually igoe104, that's a pretty significant announcement. It goes on to say: "VeriSign's SSP PKI meets the technical and policy requirements defined in Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201 (Personal Identity Verification for Federal Employees and Contractors) and seamlessly integrates with the VeriSign Card Management System (CMS for PIV) to provide a turnkey capability for managing digital certificates and PIV cards." While HSPD-12 for the federal agencies is large (5-8mm cards), if, as is likely, the individual states decide to adopt it for ultimately all state and local officials for physical and IT security, then you're looking at getting on for twice that number. e.g. Pennsylvania has approx 80-90k state employees and I'd guess local officials may be twice that number. So 250k cards for one out of the 50 states, all of which will be managed by the Verisign CMS. Clearly it will take a while for this to happen but it shows how by being the clear leader at the federal level, MyID has a good chance of a similar market position among state and local government as well. | ![]() wjccghcc
07/3/2007 12:19 | Taurus Thanks. Just goes to show how useless these software information packages are. Doesn't the FSA insist on all buys and sells being advised within a certain time? It's about time they and the Stcok Exchange supervised this and ensured the information was accurate and available free of charge to the likes on an ADVFN competitor, which I use. | aphrodites
07/3/2007 12:00 | MORE INTERESTING STUFF ABOUT VERISIGN. VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN), the leading provider of intelligent infrastructure for the networked world, announced today that it has been chosen as the Shared Service Provider (SSP) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) standard for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth can leverage the VeriSign solution to issue Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12)-compliant First Responder Access Credentials (FRAC). We applaud the Commonwealth's decision to adopt an identity credentialing solution compatible with that being deployed for Federal agencies and their contractors. The Commonwealth will benefit substantially from the interoperability, and lower costs, associated with the large-scale HSPD-12 solutions being deployed by the Federal government." | ![]() igoe104
07/3/2007 11:59 | look at times..i say there is only 1 x 10k sell out of the three. the other could be mistaked as delayed rollover(if poss) BUT as Taurus has confirmed he has bought 10k , then the other is also buy. | ![]() jailbird |
