Thanks for that.

Would this not suggest to you that IGP is an obvious acquisition target?

All the hard work has been done and providing the price is right I would have thought the main shareholders would welcome a friendly take-over.

They look very, very cheap at the price down here.

emc's 4th quarters were out yesterday - they bought rsa last year ( ) ...

Information security revenues for the fourth quarter -- the first full quarter of operations for RSA, the Security Division of EMC -- grew 26% to $114 million compared with the results reported by the division's constituent companies (RSA Security and Network Intelligence) in the year-ago period. The division's strong performance reflected continued traction for RSA's consumer identity protection solutions as a result of federal guidelines for stronger authentication practices in online banking and concerns over credit card fraud and identity theft. It also demonstrates the early post-acquisition progress that has been made in integrating the division's operations and customers' enthusiastic response to EMC's information-centric approach to securing business information...

this also worth a look...

There was a relentless, persistant ,old news link poster on the ARX board as I remember, also ,someone who tenaciously posted every word old or new on the wires, of the amazing deals in the pipeline of Biofuels.(forget their ticker now, makes me shudder to remember) Is enough to put one off. No names no pack drill.

Not sure, but if they are sells, hopefully that has allowed the seller out and we can get back to business. :-)

i,m only second-guessing, so you could be right aphodities. what is surpising is you can still buy 25k at 61.25.

anyway this looks well up igp street, with it having to meet federal standards.

The REAL ID Act of 2005 requires states to issue identification cards and driver licenses which conform to federal standards

Not sure I agree with your view about running short of stock.

I do not think they would sell 50k at the price. There is more to this than meets the eye.

Having said that and disposed of several properties and received the auction proceeds last week my company has a lot more cash to invest. My broker has instructions to buy more stock if the MM's try to pull the price back.

I continue to believe this is one share that offers tremendous value.

yep....... must be running short of stock, maxmoney. i think they are probably trying to walk the price down, they know they are in need of stock because a great possibility of igp pick up this up-coming usa government contracts, which will involve 420,000 people,(40 government agencies,) they will be able to sell it in the upper 70,s, at least.
I RECKON WE must have a 90% chance of being involved, an involvment would push the price right up, especially as would make good reading, in the national worldwide press.

Just to let you all know I bought 50,000 IGP this morning at 62p.

The deal has not been disclosed yet as it is outside of the market size.

My broker has been waiting for two weeks to buy in size but clearly the MM's have now managed to drum up a seller.

I do not think it is a case of them wanting to get hold of stock.

On the other hand I hope my colleagues information about no need to raise cash by way of a placement or rights issue is correct!!!!!!!!!!

Basically it says within 12 months, the HSPD-12 programme could account for 90% of sales. Given that their non HSPD-12 revenues this year will be about 2-2.5mm That would imply sales of 15-20mm which even I think is far too much for next year. Personally I'm looking for sales of around 5mm for the 07/08 financial year.

Snippets from IC:

Intercede (JGP)!Lol

"Intercedes interim figures to end Sept 06 didn't include any US govt business for it's identity management software. However, in 12 months time, this software could account 90% of sales."

"It's still difficult to predict what income Intercede will receive, and how quickly - some of it's sales will be paid up-front, some phased in over a five year period, and some in the form of regular monthly payments. But the company's turnover should grow quickly if it is correct in its prediction that it will be the most successful smart-card and identity-management company in the HSPD-12 programme"

"The share price is well up on 12 months ago, but there's more to come.BUY"

Sorry, I haven't registered there and am in Oz so can't buy or read a hardcopy of the IC. But whatever will be will be. I generally ignore tips, but as some others don't, they're always handy... ;0)
