I suspect the 3x10k and 4556 were buys.

APHRO - I don't buy odd amounts. Could've got 57p yesterday, and 57.5p first thing this morning, but in the end I got 10k for 58.5p. So at least 2 of those 3 x 10k 'sales' are buys. :0)

YEP must be a big T trade, order put in. i,m hoping that big seller, is out of the way, before any positive news comes out.

I want him to feel the pain, when he has sold all his shares, and the share price shoots though the roof.

These MM's have to make you laugh.

My screen shows the price up 3.5p on 39,465 volume and 7 trades.

Of these 5 are sales of 1518, 4556, and 3x10K.

The other two are small purchases of 1673 and 1718.

Clearly, there is a sizeable buy which they are holding back.

What message do they think they are giving to the market?

Taurus if you bought 50k it must have been 2p cheaper than my purchase at 62p several weeks ago!!! :0)

With the versign information, now being posted on the igp website, you have to take it seriously.
(why else would they put it on there)

You have to say igp, look more than a strong possibility ? of being involved in this big contract.
It will will make fantastic reading, in the worldwide press that a 21 million cap company, is the biggest player, in the usa security market.

Taurus,

Surely yours wasn't the modest 1673 or 1718 share trades shown today?

It does go to show the MM's have a buyer and have tried to get the price down to get stock on board.

Any sizable demand is likely to see this back in the 70's again and then upwards from there.

More information on twic.

Programs such as Registered Traveler and Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) demonstrate that biometrics can be used to mitigate transportation security risks at departure/loading, transit, and arrival/delivery stages. However, the range of biometric hardware and software solutions available to address transportation security threats necessitates a disciplined approach to biometric technology selection and integration.

Quite right.

But remember if the results live up to expectations and the share is seen to offer attractive investment potential to the institutions they will struggle to buy stock cheaply.

This set back in the market has furthet to go. I was looking for 5,800 in January but took a bit of pain in my short when it climbed to 6,400 before common sense prevailed.

Second liners like IGP have not sufferd as badly as ome of the FTSE 100 and any good news could well see the price quite a bit higher in my opinion.

i was wondering..what sort of revenues do u think IGP could be making in a yr or 2 or 3 yrs? considering in the interims it stated

"While it is still too early to predict the size or timing of these
opportunities, our early successes provide good cause for confidence that the
upside for Intercede will be significant"

Have just been reading the recent RSA contract win

so issued 100k personnel woth $952K,
but is also stated that

"Under the terms of Intercede's OEM contract with RSA, Intercede will receive an agreed percentage of this contract value." so we are not getting $952K but much less?

"Intercede is delighted to inform the market that RSA Security Inc., has been
awarded a contract by the US Government's General Services Adminstration (GSA),
to provide RSA Card Manager to an unnamed Federal Agency in support of their
Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) compliance. RSA Card
Manager is powered by Intercede's MyID technology, under an OEM licence
agreement announced in 2005. This order was placed by GSA on behalf of a
significant +100,000 person independent federal agency, not previously announced
by Intercede."

"
It is estimated that almost 8 million identity cards will be issued under
HSPD-12. Industry analysts Stanford Group estimate the total value of the
programme to be worth approximately US$1.3 billion."

I wonder how much of that 8 Million could IGP are looking to get..

main impact of current sentiment re igp share price will be to blunt any good news, or magnify any bad news. which will be annoying if occurs but pure short term stuff.

The interesting thing is to see both MM's at 55 - 58p and despite two sales at 55p they have kept their price unchanged.

In a volatile market like this they would normally have dropped the price 3p on any small sale.

I think it shows there is a buyer out there and the MM's want stcok.

Having said that I bet they will chnage the price immediately!!!!!

Im sure the global correction passing igp, just shows that most holders feel that there is more value to come in this company. igp is like all other AIM companies, it moves with news.

and with one or two annoucements, due with-in the next 5-6 weeks, people are happy to hold. i,m glad that they hasn,t been any news early march, because it would be overlooked, in this market.

a RNS will be more welcome, when the market starts recovering in 2-3 weeks time.

ttb,

as there is little traded here, i guess MMs are just leaving it alone.
But if the mkts keep falling, it would not surprise me that the non-movers will begin to follow the mkt trend. But i think some stocks will buck the trend depending on the sector they are in...I think we are in the right sector and news could be around anytime...it is just that the share could be higher in in a mkt which sentiment is positive

So, does the way this global market correction has totally passed IGP by imply that:-

1. IGP has inner strength that will burst forward in the share price when markets stabilise?
or
2. No-one knows, or cares, about IGP?

I rather suspect it is the latter.... until the next RNS! It does seem to imply, though, that most holders are content to wait at these levels for the story to develop further. :0)

Hi igoe,
Sorry, but I can't work out from your post whether it is good for IGP or not!!
Ok, as the March date draws nearer (both for the GSA and maybe even a trading statement), who thinks that the 57.25p buy price is good value?!!
Best wishes all

JUST IN BOYS,ABOUT TWIC.
igoe104

The TWIC programme technology is not yet finalised - MyID wasn't involved in the earlier trials since the card requirements were a lot more basic and the lack of existing security infrastructure meant that MyID's comprehensive ability to interface with so many different products was not required. However, IGP are very much a partner of Lockheed who have won the contract so depending on the project's suitability MyID may or may not be added at this late stage.

However, as spooky says, the State programmes will be designed to be HSPD-12 compliant and therefore MyID's involvement will IMHO be widespread.
