20/12/2006 23:09 | carly I think you will have to be a little more patient. It is the Christmas period and he might well be away. I found him very good when I emailed him. Let's wait until the New Year and if he hasn't replied by say 8 January I shall also drop him a line. Mind you he might not be able to reply because he knows Peel Hunt is in the process of making a placement. On the other hand it would be unusual for a director to buy stock when he should know the company might be involved in a cash raising exercise. I actually thought this was a very positive piece of news. Then again I cannot see IGP has any other alternative but to make a placement (this would be the cheapest course to take) or a rights issue, unless of course it has positive proof that the contracts it has announced will generate substantial positive cash flows in 2007. Then its bankers might well be prepared reluctantly to step in and help finance the shortfall. I feel another convertible loan stock would not be advisable. With the company only having £400k in the kitty when it announced its results one must question why its brokers did not preempt the issue and advise it to placate market worries about running out of cash. But how often do we see the obvious being ignored by C.E.'s because they have not been advised properly by their brokers? I bet Peel Hunt is licking its lips at the thought of making a little dosh by placing some shares? And I wonder who is supplying a bit of stock to the market at present! If IGP could show it has raised £2m with a placement at 55p a share with say 6/8 large institutions and it commented positively on its future cash flows this would be excellent news for the company. I think the price would immediately jump to 70/80p and it would receive very good write-ups. There would still be a shortage of shares in the market and if the company broker really did start to push IGP with forecasts of very substantial profits in the future we could see a dramatic 4-fold increase in price over 2007/8. I just cannot help being very bullish about IGP's prospects. But I would love to see it make a comment about not needing to raise any cash short-term. | aphrodites

20/12/2006 18:26 | i think that over the coming months we will start to see order values coming in...i also expect to see igp at £1 + over the next few months. | graham browns dad
20/12/2006 18:04 | ITS a good thing in away, to have a big seller around the 60p mark. if new blood comes in at the 60p mark it creates a new platform. APHTOPITES has been spot on in what he has said, about a buyer and a seller being around, i wonder how much over-hang is left, to clear from the seller ? | ![]() igoe104
20/12/2006 17:05 | yes, a 50k t at 61p and a 25k o at 63p. may as well post the afx take... Intercede partner RSA wins 952,977 usd smart card order from US government LONDON (AFX, 12.37pm) - Intercede Group PLC said its partner RSA Security Inc has won a contract from the US government's General Services Administration worth 952,977 usd to provide its smart card component to an unnamed federal agency. It said the smart card will be used for the implementation of Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12, which covers the provision of ID for all federal employees and contractors. RSA uses Intercede's MyID technology under a licence agreement announced in 2005. | ![]() rambutan2

20/12/2006 10:43 | Whichever way the UK government goes, it's likely to be an expensive mess, and happily speculation about it seems to have nothing to do with this share. | buffin
20/12/2006 10:17 | Whichever way the government go, they're going to need a CMS for issuance and verfication that can be linked to the different databases and works with PKI. Sound like anyone we know? | ![]() wjccghcc
20/12/2006 09:07 | Possible that they mean that the cards will be manufactured under contract and then issued to users in house.... Any thoughts on who's technology would allow them to do that easily? G. | ![]() garth
20/12/2006 08:33 | govt are taking flak- they will use best of class and what is proven to work and not risk both overrun in cost AND failure. Sounds to me like we (the consumer )will be paying anyway- just like a new passport! | ![]() pyman
19/12/2006 22:55 | This piece suggests the UK ID cards will be created in-house: | ![]() garth

19/12/2006 19:50 | Totally agree. That's 25 out of 26 announced federal agencies using MyID or MyID OEM CMS's. It's also nice that this was through the GSA which is recompeting the 46 agency contract they'd given to Bearingpoint/Gemalto | ![]() wjccghcc
19/12/2006 17:27 | top stuff. a tiny uk listed co is right at the heart of a huge worldwide movement/shift and in what is currently looking like an unassailable strategic position. what an achievement. | ![]() rambutan2
