I would totally ignore this initial mark down.

The company broker has buyers and will be mopping up all loose stock.

On top of that the broker will want a firmer price if there it is going to be involved in a placement. If of course there is going to be one!

It might wait for more major news in the New Year and issue then.

The statement is very positive.

We don't know what transactions are yet to be reported - the NMS is only 500.

jailbird, excuse me if I'm going over old ground, but where did you get your £20m mkt cap? ADVFN (which I know isn't always reliable) shows £8.8m.

No, they have marked it down for trades not yet displayed. Give it an hour and they'll come through.

Unless you are dealing in very small amounts you should know by now that operating stop losses on a share with such restricted liquidity like IGP is a fools game.

With only two MM's you play directly into their hands.

Either you are in this one for the long term or if you are operating stop losses you should not be in it at all.

This has got well ahead of itself - market cap £10M - and due for a correction.

2007 will be critical, in all respects, for the business.

With cash down to £400K, an outstanding loan of £1.8m and negative cashflow of £700K, isn't there quite likely to be a placing to shore up the Balance Sheet in the near future !

There are several interesting comments in the results:

(1)While it is still too early to predict the size or timing of these
opportunities, our early successes provide good cause for confidence that the
upside for Intercede will be significant.

VERY POSITIVE.

(2) As at 30 September 2006, the Group had net cash balances totaling £405,000.
During the six months ended 30 September 2006, the cash outflow before financing was £707,000 which compares with a cash inflow of £358,000 during the
comparative period.

AS I WARNED THIS COMPANY WILL REQUIRE MORE CASH AND A PLACEMENT WITH INSTITUTIONS IS ON THE CARDS. WILL IT BE A GIVE AWAY?

(3) Sales during the period totaled £1,212,000 which, at a gross margin of 98%,
resulted in an operating loss of £270,000. This compares to sales in the
corresponding period last year of £1,241,000 at a gross margin of 96% and an
operating profit of £2,000.

THE LOSS IS NOT UNEXPECTED AS RESOURCES HAVE GONE INTO EMPLOYING MORE STAFF TO MEET THE INCREASING DEMAND THE COMPNAY IS EXPECTING.

(4) It should be noted that, despite our success securing new contracts, US Federal Agencies are being slower in deploying HSPD-12 solutions than had been
previously expected. It is therefore premature to forecast the number of
licenses that may be sold by 31 March 2007.

THE ONLY SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTING COMMENT IN THE STATEMENT. BUT THIS IS INDICATIVE OF ALL GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS.

OTHERWISE IT IS ALL GO FOR IGP

Results out today. Not as good as expected as it look like the big increase in revenues is still a year or so off. Cash position not great either. This is all about the opportunities going forward though!

As I indicated recently I hear the company broker has is an instituional buyer at the 63/64p level.

It could well be him who is mopping up all the sales down here.

garth I,VE spend the last 6 days with my girlfriend in new york, and going around my mums house for along period of time is tough, so i,m happy to spend some moments in front of my pc alone in my own house, for a change.

my average price is 22.5p, so abit to go before 400% profit.
my comment about IOT was from the top of my head, i know their was a negative statement from them, and i thought maybe it could have made the mm.s mark some of the tech stocks down.

i,m very relaxed just like abit of banter from time to time. (it comes from my grandads side) Lol

Igoe,

The chart says 41p because the IGP share price is standardised against the IOT share price. I did it that way round because you suggested that it was events at IOT that were precipitating the decline in IGP today. In that regards it is the right chart. Lets be honest - it was your suggestion that was spurious.

I'm not sure what a comparision of the year charts for the two stocks would tell us. There is so very little to compare between the two. That is what makes your initial comment about bad news from IOT driving an IGP decline to be so very surprising.

Your posting frequency seems at odds with your stated investment timescales. If IGP are potentially as good as you believe (and I believe they are) then relax a bit. The price will rise and fall. There are a number of folks who jumped onto the spike in the mid-70's and they have to be asking themselves where these are going short term.....

The IGP share price has historically not behaved as one might expect. But if you understand the potential as well as you suggest then you should be sitting on a good 400% profit already Igoe. So relax. Its Christmas. Spend some time with friends and family.

Kind regards,

G.

COME ON GARTH, at least get the right chart up 41p mmmmmmm.

yep 300,000 sum will be included.

At the end of the day, i,m not that bothered about the day to day trading, when i invest into a company, " especially an AIM company " i,m looking for at-least a two year investment, (for tax reasons mainly).

i,d be surpised if this was not close to £2 this time next year,or even higher. (thats what makes my desk top lift up) THINK ABOUT IT LOL.

ps garth why don,t you get the chart for igp vs iot chart for 2006

Very funny ways Igoe, IOT are up and IGP are down!!!! Me thinks you are fishing...

IGP have stacks of potential and have enjoyed a good run. Capital preservation has to be the golden rule though.
It would not be surprising or unusual for some profits to be locked ahead of results. Potential will only hold th eprice up for so long - its the numbers that will count.

Was there a sum that IGP implied would be carried from the previous half into this set of results? If so, that should help the numbers.

DYOR.

I think the main reason for the fall is a sector thing, Isoft posted bad news, so its hit a few IT stocks.

THE markets move in funny ways sometimes.

ITS diffcult to tell buffin. comdirect, and digital look have it a buy.
it hardly matters anyway.

the company is 8.4% down on 7k (cash) worth of volume, we can make our own conclusions on that.
im sure they will be takers, at these levels ,as it levels out in the afternoon.
