May well be so, pork belly, and I'm sure the results won't set the world on fire, but there's bound to be a pretty impressive outlook statement in view of recent news. I'd be very surprised if most investors weren't looking beyond the actual results themselves.

I think there'll be the odd investor just pocketing a bit of money before results, purely because we are probably priced a fair bit ahead of the profit flow and post results there will be imo a relatively quiet period until the real flow starts. If I hadn't sold a few around 53p ish I would probably take a few out now.

Whether any investors are in here are actually much bothered about current profits is another thing. Think most are here for the big picture.

YES i agree, i,m hoping intercede can tie up the contracts with IBM soon, there was a hint from mr parris, it could well happen.

The contract with IBM is for $41 million, lasts through 2011, and can support 400,000 cards or individual customers

Interesting article.

The more one reads about the Homeland Security directive in the US the more one realises how security minded the States has become since 9/11.

The implications to the UK and on a global scene are quite mind boggling.

And owning shares in a company like IGP which is now an obvious leader in its field and at this low price level is most comforting.

I think this set of results will be accompanied by an extremely bullish report from the Chairman.

And I would not put it past them to release news which will inject yet another leg-up in the share price.

2007 could be a bonanza year.

It could be a different situation this time tauras, if the company makes a profit this time, "rather than a loss" last year.

tech companies making a profit will raise a few eyes,(this day of an age) especially with a bullish statement from the company.

Intercede and Partners Secure Key NATO Summit with Smart Card-based Identities

Lutterworth, Leicestershire, December 6th, 2006 â€" Intercede are pleased to announce that Intercede’s MyID system was used to manage the identities of 8,000 diplomats, conference delegation members, Latvian and NATO supporting units, security personnel and volunteers at the NATO Summit in Riga, 27-29 November, 2006.

This solution was primed by Oberthur Card Systems and delivered to the Ministry of Defence of Latvia in partnership with Intercede and Fargo. Intercede provided a complete system to personalise, issue and verify Oberthur smart card-based identity cards at this major international event. Each Oberthur smart card was colour-coded according to role and security clearance, printed with a photograph of the card holder, secured with holograms and other security printing features to prevent forgery, and the electronic chip was personalized to enable secure cardholder verification.

A compelling aspect of the solution was the ability to both request batches of smart cards from Oberthur’s centralized card production service and to also securely produce locally personalized cards on Fargo desktop printers. This enabled the bulk production of cards ordered in advance and an on-demand issuance capability for late registrations from the same system.

Key features of the system include:

Ø The MyID registration workstations were smart card protected to prevent the issuance of cards by unauthorized people
Ø Bulk data import of card requests into MyID from other systems
Ø Immediate face-to-face issuance of emergency replacement cards
Ø Instant identity card verification at up to 20 NATO Summit buildings and checkpoints using MyID card validation stations. Each verification station was securely connected to the MyID verification server using secure channels over the public internet.

In a press conference held on 29 November 2006, NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, praised the Latvian Government for their flawless organization of the Riga Summit. Intercede is proud to be associated with this success.

“With 26 Heads of State in attendance, conference security was of paramount concern. Just as a matter of interest, anyone any idea why this hasn't attracted the 'crowd' - not that I want it to - only its at least as blue sky as SOLA. OK the latter is making profits already, but the crowd don't normally bother about that.
