With the old Gemplus, IGP's MyID was the basis for their corporate safesite product - there's been some good business from this channel. They also had a partnership with Axalto since Dec 2004 but I've never seen any contracts referred to.

Not sure how they'll fit in with the new Gemalto. I suspect it will take a while for their managements to get round to integrating the ID card products.

ps looking at the consortium team members, they are all the best, in what they do. so you can,t really see, anything but a large chunk of the usa government contract.
should be a positive rns, and a big share rise soon.

yes it is a sleeper, but anyday soon you could log into advfn, and see igp top gainer on the leader board. with only a 10 mill cap a half desent contract could shoot it up 50% + in one day. i also believe that if they get a good chunk of the usa government contract, and do a good job, they have to be in line for the usa driving license,s, (with that been part of the usa government as well.)
homeland security contract covers around 18 million people, but is only about 7% of the size of the driving licenses, which are due to realised may 2008, which will involve 280 million people. if we get a good involvement in that one, what sort of share price will we be looking at, me thinks £5 + at least.

Thanks for all the good work, igoe104! This one is definitely the sleeper in my portfolio right now, but hoping for better things around the corner. Certainly seem to be few sellers around now, and next week we are into October! The US directive date draws ever closer... :0)

I think the winmagic involvement goes back to the old days when IGP was more of a one stop security consultancy.

yep i,m looking for at least 10 bag from this one, it would make me 1/2 million.
i,m still confused alittle about winmagic, first i never heard anything about them being a partner in the first place, and 2nd when i checked their partner list and checked out their write up about igp, it said our customers are three us government agencies. is it a done deal that we are going to involved with 3 government agencies, and are waiting for a positive rns anyday, or is it a miswrite by them. (if you look at igp customer homepage, its worded differently.)

TIMELY is could start moving very soon,(oct 27th) usa government contracts will given out soon, igp are excepted to have a great involvement, in them.
its diffcult for fund managers to get involved at this stage, with so little stock around, when the company cap goes over 100 mill, you will find more interest from them.
if igp are involved in the usa government plans, and do a good job, it could platform for other contracts, like usa driving licenses, nhs cards, usa/ uk id cards. don,t forget the usa driving licenses will involve 280 million people, what impact, would that have for a company that has a value off around 10 million.

nice connection with the nhs, for the new man, in charge of the government id project, could have had contact with duncan hine, who has had a lot of dealing, with the nhs over the years.

or if someone decided to take the plunge and try and buy a few - i just don't believe that igp isn't on a fund manager or someones wish list. no doubt they are waiting/hoping/pushing for some sort of fund raising, but perhaps they might grow impatient, or realize that they will not get their wish. or perhaps i'm just deluded!

just noticed, a new name in the partner list. it doesn,t seem to be part of the consortium either. but it seems a company with good government connections.

Looks like the mm,s are pushing the price up slowly, ready for next month positive news on, usa government fed contract. it will put this company more on peoples radar, when the much expected rns is annouced.
