Thanks igoe104. Saw the IT medallist announcement which clearly shows the Irish project implemented smoothly. Wonder who nominated them.

Given up trying to add any more at the moment - there is absolutely no stock around as you say.

OMNIKEY, one of the world's leading manufacturers of innovative smart card readers, has joined the recently established HSPD-12 Interoperability Consortium. The Consortium aims to provide interoperable solutions to government agencies and system integrators that need to comply with the Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD) 12 - Policy for a Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors.

"We are very proud to be among the founding companies of the Consortium. Nope, this is about HSMs which are used to protect encrypted data and keys, not about the actual issuance/management of the cards which is where IGP is involved. More relevant to NCH who are a safenet competitor in this area.

Does however show how international a player Safenet is which can only bode well for the Safenet/IGP partnership.

This could be intersting, with being part of the safenet usa consortium.

safenet setting the standard for information security, has been selected by 14 governments, including, france, and australia, to combat irregular immigration.
they are bringing out a new type of passport, which has all the information on it.

(ps can anyone let me know how to post links.)

IT WOULD HAVE PROBABly took the mid price up to 28.5/29p anyway, if you would of got 10,000 shares, so it not really as big of a spread as you think.

Tried to buy a few this am when the price was 25-28. They offered me 2500 at 28p, 5000 at 29p and 10000 at 30p. Guess there's not much stock around...

Things are quiet at the moment. thats why the mm is dropping the sp, still over the last month, there has been more buys than sells but still the share price has dropped down from 30.5p.
anyway dispite the rumours about the uk id card, hitting problems, the government still say" they will start rolling them out with passports in 2008. (hopefully igp will be involved, and their are no big problems)
i hoping for some more rns,s in the mean time, another big retail one from siemens would be nice, or an involvement with gemalto with the french health cards, or mircosoft.

This could be interesting.

french banks are going to upgrade security cards. The french promise to be the first major country to roll out banking smart cards, they are looking to issue over 25 million cards by the end of july 2006. gemalto will issue the cards for the french banks.

ps (gemalto are the result of gemplus/axaito, merger.) both are partners of intercede.
hopefully the igp kit will be involved. and hopefully other countries will follow suit.

it looks like someone liked what they heard at the agm today. with a 20k buy.
only just over 3% rise with a 20k buy.
but yesterday 6% fall on 17k sell. (and i,m not 100% sure 10k of that was a sell.)
yep it does not make sense.

I emailed andrew, and he said he needs comfirmation from my broker. don,t think i,ll take a chance in going down.its my own fault for not being organised, and giving my broker more notice.

what was strange with today trades, is only the 7738 sell was recorded, even though it says 17,338 shares traded. so the 10,000 trade is not shown yet.

anyone selling these at this level, must be hard up for money. this is going to be a huge growth sector, over the next 2-3, 1000% growth, intercede are in a great position, to get a huge piece of it.
