Here here. Me thinks this is all just about recent buying though...surely the new product lauch will be announced??? If not at least the MM's know it about and hopefully some existing customers will want to upgrade their existing systems with this new one....

Hopefully a good week ahead.

Those mm's really know how to kill liquidity and volume. 29/32 is a big spread but even a little buying really moves this. I am on the sidelines for this week but will add to my 209,000 shares soon enough.

YEP it doesn,t take much buying to move this up. if this health card contract, which we don,t know the details on yet, turns out to be massive for igp, this could rocket up. with this company only having a market cap of 9 million it can move quickly on buys and any positive news.

should find more details, with the results next month.

New Contracts:

Intercede has won a contract via an established partner for a leading German manufacturing company involving up to 80,000 users.

The Company has received notification of an award of a large UK Government related project that has the potential to use more than 1m MyID licences over a 3 year period.

Intercede delivered the first 10,000 MyID PIV licences to a new VeriSign Federal Government customer (as announced in Intercede's 2007 Interim Report) along with a contract to supply dedicated professional service support over an extended period. A further 90,000 licences are planned for delivery over the next 12 months.

* An Intercede partner has been notified of its selection by a European (non-UK) telecommunications provider for a high volume health care project *

Garth,

Nice to hear from you again.

Par for the course from Brown -I once interviewed his catspaw Darling for nearly an hour and was not at all impressed. He allowed the Spaniards to buy BAA, using dodgy accounting, and did not check their credit rating with the results we now know all about.
The only decision that Darling ever took in his life was to shave off his preposterous stubble and that was only when Maggie( his wife) allowed him to.

No. AIM stocks cannot go in an ISA. Some strange rule if dual listed on a foreign exchange though.....

Gordon said he would... but then he didn't.....

A very quick question requiring a yes or no answer. One of my friends said "no."

Can IGP go into an ISA?

apd,

that is a well bought indeed...when the mkt is in turmoil, then opps come to buy decent sizes come along, especially in illiquid shares , where the opportunity is generally harder to buy decent quantities...i'm surprised it is still below 30p.

Unfortunately my money is tied up too, which should over time make a profit too.
But this opportunity may be the last time below 30p..i really feel.

The recent updates are very assuring and gives me confidence that the time is indeed this year and onwards for IGP.

But i agree a takeover is very much on the cards, sometime next year i feel it could happen.

oh have a good business trip!

We bought in fact 135k well below 33p in the recent market turmoil.

As I believe I posted here we were approached by our broker who told us a MM wanted to know if we were still there for 100k at 33p. In fact we then sold a few at 32p straight after being tested and dropped our buy price to 30p where we were again tested two days later and declined.

Only the foolish are seen to support the market in these volatile conditions.

I am in Canada at present on business and unfortunately do not have all the information in my lap-top. I believe we bought in total 135k at around an average price of 29p.

It's brought our average price down although we are still offside. I do not like averaging but I am confident this is one share that will eventually be taken over at a substantially higher price than we see today.

There have been some wonderful buying opportunities over recent weeks.

All we need now is for the Bank to drop interest rates to 4% and we really will
be off to the races. But I do not see that happening.

One of my involvements is as a director and 20% owner of an electrical wholesale business which will turn over £30m this year. Despite all the gloom in the stock and housing markets we had a record trading month in March. In my opinion the U.K. economy is in better shape than the stock market suggest. If I am right then we have seen the bottom of the recent fall. But on the other hand I do not see a massive a climb in prices either. But there are some superb take-over opportunities like our friend here.

10am over here and off to another meeting now.

If any one is kind enough to sell more and push the price down I will glady mop them up at a lower price. Annual update coming in May... which isn't far away and we will see a sharp enough break north then if the companys recent guidance on contracts is reinforced with visible revenue streams.

And I am sure the roadshows in Vegas and San Fran are raising the firms profile too. £10m is just too cheap for the distribution possibilities and technology.

Aphrodites,

do u still want to buy 100k.more..33p was well avoided...
but looks like howdy here is a decent size buyer too...lucky lot!

anyhow looks like there is still a few left of the 130k sold recently.

We could back in the 30ps if howdy continues his buying.

Maine Agrees to Comply with REAL ID Act
Faced with having its drivers licenses rejected at airports, the State of Maine on Wednesday agreed to take "significant additional steps" necessary to comply with security levels required by the federal REAL ID Act.
Had Maine failed to agree with the REAL ID compliance demands, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had threatened to order airport security screeners to start conducting pat down searches of all Maine residents attempting to fly without a current U.S. passport.

As a result of its agreement, Maine was allowed to join all other states and U.S. territories in being granted an extension for achieving REAL ID compliance until 2010.

In a key part of its settlement with DHS, Maine's Governor John Baldacci agreed to ask the state legislature to pass a bill requiring its residents to prove their legal status as U.S. citizens when applying for a driver's license. Maine further agreed to begin taking and retaining photographs of individuals applying for state ID cards, even if no ID is issued.

All states and territories now have until Jan. 1, 2010 to complete security upgrades allowing them to confirm that all applicants for their licenses and ID cards are legal U.S. citizens

Athena are one of IGP partners......

Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd. has lead an equity investment in Tokyo-based Athena Smartcard Solutions Ltd. together with Athena's current shareholders. Athena was founded in 1998 based on technology licensed from Aladdin. Aladdin did not disclose the size of the financing round, or the amount of its investment, but said that it would "further strengthen the strategic alliance between the two companies".

Athena has developed advanced cryptographic smart card operating systems, smart card middleware, and reading devices, securing its position as an innovator in smart card technology. Its product is designed for the expanding market for secure government and enterprise employee smart identification cards. Aladdin previously licensed elements of Athena's smart card technology for use with its own products.

Aladdin chairman and CEO Yanki Margalit said, "Moving forward into 2008, this investment will allow us to streamline our strong authentication offerings and provide Aladdin eToken customers with increased flexibility and enhanced functionality. This remains an important investment for Aladdin as Athena maintains significant expertise in smart card technology and production, enabling continued innovation for Aladdin's eToken."

Aladdin today published its financial report for the fourth quarter of 2007 and for the year as a whole. The company reported a record $29.1 million revenue for the fourth quarter, 29 percent more than the $24.3 million for the corresponding quarter of 2006. GAAP-based net profit totaled $2.8 million ($0.20 per share), down from $3.6 million ($0.25 per share). Software DRM revenue rose 8 percent from the corresponding quarter to $17.1 million and enterprise security revenue rose 20 percent to $12 million.

The company posted a record $105.9 million for the year, 19 percent more than the $89 million posted in 2006. GAAP-based net profit was a record $14.9 million ($1.04 per share), compared with $14 million ($0.96 per share) in 2006.

Aladdin predicts GAAP diluted earnings per share of $1.28-1.40 on $123-130 million revenue in 2008.

Margalit noted, "2007 was an exceptional year for Aladdin as we crossed the $100 million mark in annual revenues while driving record levels of operating cash flow and bottom line profitability."

During the fourth quarter, Aladdin deployed its eToken authentication devices with the Thai government, South Korea's online banking community National Agricultural Federation (NongHyup/NH Bank), Continental Airlines, North American Electric Reliability Corporation, and Oregon's Eugene Water & Electric Board. eToken also obtained Federal Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 2 and 3 validation certification.

Aladdin closed at $17.98 on Nasdaq yesterday, giving a market cap of $252 million. The share rose 2.7 percent by mid-afternoon today on the TASE.
