03/5/2018 06:50 | Renumeration: It's where you change the numbers to get paid a lot more. Usage: You go see your boss and say 'I want to talk about my renumeration' and they say 'You mean remuneration', and you say 'No, I really do mean re-numeration'. | kamitora
02/5/2018 18:49 | What's renumeration ? | dexdringle
02/5/2018 14:42 | For the second year running !!!! what is wrong with them - are they that stupid? | joe say
02/5/2018 12:45 | I see those "large shareholders" referenced this morning are not happy with the renumeration! | zcaprd7
02/5/2018 10:38 | Raffles the capex demands to implement 'WiFi in the air' are huge, and IMO will continue for a few more years, but the market is also huge and if ISAT can become the dominant player it will be good news, but we are 2 to 3 years away from that right now. As someone said above, if you want a quick return you might be better off buying shares in WPP or Costa Coffee (When they split) legacy culture of civil service, bureaucracy, and mediocraty - nice phrase haha. | losos
02/5/2018 10:29 | One of the big problems with this company is the management and the legacy culture of civil service, bureaucracy and mediocrity. Mid digit sales growth is nothing to get excited about given the capex splurge. Yes, I can accept the returns on capital maybe eroding over time, which is beyond their control. But that, in conjunction with blowing up the balance sheet to pay an unsustainable dividend speaks volumes about the people running this business. | the original goldbug
02/5/2018 10:22 | Ok thanks for clarifying that. I'm afraid I'd want to see some real tangible evidence that the capex cycle is coming to a conclusion before getting more constructive in it here | raffles the gentleman thug
02/5/2018 09:54 | Raffles The Gentleman Thug 2 May '18 - 07:50 - 3321 of 3324 Someone please tell me how this company has the nerve to say that a 4.5% decline in EBITDA and. 44.2% decline in pretax profits is a “solid” performance ?? Group EBITDA fell $8.2m. Government EBITDA fell $11.0m after a secret contract finished. This was expected. Without the fall from government, EBITDA from the rest of the group increased slightly. Excluding Ligado, further steady increases are expected for the next 5 years. Statutory profit after tax went from a loss of $5.6m to a profit of $53.6m. It was a change in the value of derivatives - not a trading issue - that swung adjusted profit the other way so it could be described as a solid trading performance - or not, depending on how one chooses to consider derivatives movements. | aleman
02/5/2018 09:32 | I sold all mine at 3.97 this morning.I really need to stop reading these boards they are full of people giving one another poor investing ideas and sooner or later one gets tilted and let's their guard down and buys a stinking pile of shift like this.Good luck to the idiots imo. | my retirement fund
02/5/2018 07:36 | The Ligado shadow still there then.... Market likes them. | wad collector
02/5/2018 07:15 | o Targeting mid-single digit percentage revenue growth on average over the next five years, with EBITDA and free cash flow generation expected to improve steadily. (This is with Ligado excluded.) Capex of $500 to $600 per annum to moderate after 2020. | aleman

02/5/2018 06:28 | Looks ok to me ISAT are investing in a growth area of sat coms what's not to like about that. Suppose that is the problem they do not want capital intensive business better to have service industry's with minimum capital employed. | wskill
01/5/2018 16:47 | hope not fingers crossed and all that.. | wilksey1
01/5/2018 16:00 | A £2 million sale this afternoon. Hope that does not indicate that there is bad news awaiting us in the morning. Bud | budsman
27/4/2018 10:24 | Views differ even within Allianz Global Investors itself. Its chief investment officer for UK equities, Simon Gergel, has gradually added to an existing Inmarsat holding in his Allianz UK Equity Income Fund, saying its optimised mobile communications network sets it apart and there was "tremendous demand growth" to fill the new capacity... | zcaprd7
27/4/2018 09:10 | A bit late, is probably better than too early, like most on here... | zcaprd7
27/4/2018 09:00 | Thanks for the link chancer, that's an interesting article which sets out the bull vs bear arguments. I also believe there's also the short-termism of the market. There simply isn't the patience to see this through to pay off. I hope I'm doing the right thing in taking a position now and waiting for the market sentiment to catch up. | lomcovaks

24/4/2018 15:45 | Too much debt and that will be the focus of this thing now the that the myth of super high returns on capital has been busted. | the original goldbug
24/4/2018 15:03 | I don't like this price slippage this afternoon; may just be noise but hope not more bad news in the pipeline. | wad collector
