29/3/2018 15:38 | So Melrose win the day and despite GKN having sensitive defence contracts. | steeplejack
29/3/2018 14:22 | There's a bit of interest in Avanti with their satellite launch and debt for equity swap due imminently..... | badger60
29/3/2018 11:01 | It’s income funds which are selling down their positions. If there was a big profit warning we would have a big loss and then more selling immediately after but it would stabilise quicker. Income funds are forced sellers and it is taking time to find new bulls who feel it is a compelling buy despite the price falls. | the original goldbug
29/3/2018 10:52 | Rises one day and falls the next to fool you everything is ok. Known as the piranha effect because it takes little bites out of you daily rather than devour you all at once. Research also shows Iridium is far better than Inmarsat. Reminds me of the days when ADT, Modern Alarms and Thorn bought by Ashcroft who then sold to Tyco. I wonder if the same amalgamation will come to fruition within the satellite industry ? Although losing heavily, I am not prepared to sell out at this stage only to see the shares snapped up for a bargain price by the vultures awaiting. | chancer
29/3/2018 10:43 | ......Numis' reckoned that it should do, the last time around...... | badger60
29/3/2018 08:17 | FFS! Does this ever go up? AQR increasing. | penycae
26/3/2018 15:07 | Simply goes to show that analysts are like birds of feather, they flock together. The only really interesting analysis is that which is markedly different in take and recommendation to the others. It is the contrarian note that grabs the fund managers attention. | steeplejack
26/3/2018 14:16 | .....and then they went and screwed up by upping their forecast to 450p....now they look as stupid as the rest of them..... | badger60
26/3/2018 14:14 | They were still wrong with their analysis... | zcaprd7
26/3/2018 14:09 | Whatever you think about brokers, the original Numis note was way ahead of the game and everyone thought they were mad when they predicted 400p. | rcturner2
26/3/2018 14:01 | Suspect you're right. The company might try to reassure but a two thirds cut in the annual dividend payout speaks louder than words. | steeplejack
26/3/2018 13:55 | In my very humble opinion, ISAT is more likely to see 300pps before it visits 400p again.......but I'm not a broker who is paid to peddle lies and incompetence to gullible mug investors........ | badger60
26/3/2018 13:32 | The most recent Numis forecast got it horribly wrong. I wonder how far out the other cretins are going to be on their next estimates? | badger60
26/3/2018 11:43 | Article in Sunday's writing about validity of inflight broadband license .News known but adds to bearish sentiment. | steeplejack
23/3/2018 16:29 | TOG, They did indeed do their last bond issue in dollars :-) | al101uk
23/3/2018 16:28 | This is a Corporate Finance MBA, single chapter on how finance is structured... any reasonably large company should be following something close to this process as part of their project roll out and planning. The key takeaway is that the term of the debt should match the term of the project and the currency mix should match the companies cash flow. | al101uk
23/3/2018 16:21 | Is a dollar revenue business with I presume most of the debt in dollars, so I don’t think there’s much to see here. | the original goldbug
23/3/2018 15:50 | As $ weakens against £ ,debt in £ is going down ! | rogerrail
23/3/2018 09:35 | "For a company that earns in USD and spends in GBP that’s not a great scenario..." You're right, but which company are you talking about? It's not Inmarsat. | al101uk
23/3/2018 03:36 | Don't forget the GBP is getting stronger vs USD.For a company that earns in USD and spends in GBP that's not a great scenario...Market open wont be kind to this one today. Futures down 1% right now... | shoobmeister
22/3/2018 23:44 | I think they are targeting satellite launch 2020 but a build over 5 years ? | fenners66
22/3/2018 20:06 | So ho many years advantage do they have and how many years are the airline locked into a contract? | the original goldbug |
