19/12/2016 15:12 | Figures from the company, "A preliminary estimate is that the capital expenditure required to achieve first oil from the EPS, excluding the two horizontal wells which have already been drilled and tested, is expected to be up to USD400 million. This estimate comprises vessel hull and topside conversion, vessel repair and life extension, turret, buoy and mooring, Subsea Equipment, well completions and vessel deployment and associated service and engineering costs (including the Subsea Equipment, buoy, mooring and control system long lead items funded by the Fundraising)." | ![]() thegreatgeraldo

19/12/2016 14:48 | Malcy's not guessing, the company have spelt out how it will finance the Lancaster EPS, "via a combination of some or all of the following options: equity, production pre-payment facility, deferred vendor finance, deferred yard and fabricator finance, hybrid ownership of the FPSO, export credit agency guarantees and farmout." Simple! ;-#)) | ![]() thegreatgeraldo

19/12/2016 13:28 | In we are up 10p in four weeks, or 25% so its better than it looks on the surface. Also there is a certain amount of hot money leaving the party possibly some from the 34p placing. Once that is done I think this will steadily march forward. It should be on plenty of New Year tip recommendations as "One to watch." Also I doubt any fund manager is focusing on his portfolio this week, The City is off essentially on Thursday at 4.30 till early January. | ![]() davidblack

19/12/2016 12:45 | That's right . If the company had just announced 250 million barrels or less the share price would have come off significantly. The share price response to this mega news is pretty unbelievable. Should be well into the 50's on today's news. Hopefully getting rid of a lot of weak holders . | ![]() talkman2
19/12/2016 12:40 | Pathetic share price move after today's news. How far would it have dropped if unsuccessful. Must be more upward action to come surely ! | ![]() gisjob2
19/12/2016 12:39 | I agree in that HUR continues to be so undervalued. Even using base numbers we should be much higher than c50p.Perhaps the CPR report next year will add some certainty and independence to the figures we are looking at. Going forwards I do expect to be having to dup my hand in my pocket again to raise cash for further funding which if the results are anything to go by so far, will be close to a no brainer. Congratulations to all HUR employees that have worked so well to bring about yet another good result. | ![]() hopeful holder
19/12/2016 12:38 | Hi Cash, Thanks for that. Regarding SOU, yes, 27.5%. Onshore gas close to infrastructure with the surrounding area held by majors with gas selling at $8-12 mscf. Could be several tens of tcfs. Gas more attractive than oil there. Several buyers for sure. Rinse and repeat at Meridja. Italy an administrative nightmare, but Badile high COS (NPV10 $1.4bn) and a lookalike at Zibido. I like them both. :-} Buffy | ![]() buffythebuffoon
19/12/2016 12:26 | small mention in the stadard: extract: "Elsewhere, Hurricane Energy was swept 6.98p or 17% higher to 48.98p when it revealed its Lincoln well in the North Sea might contain more than the 250 million barrels of oil previously estimated." | leeson31
19/12/2016 12:22 | Amazed at the share price . Should be significantly higher . Is a conservative figure of 250 million barrels recoverable only worth £75 million ( increase in mkt. cap today ) ? | ![]() talkman2 |
