Yes appreciate all your views. Incidentally it seems that this share price has got up a little since our conversation, as if to prove me wrong... ehehe

I think he may be rattled as nimbo pointed out that he has accused Fdev of libellous action and market manipulation. Not accusations to be taken lightly.

Edit:

Thanks for the posts today from the others. Some well reasoned stuff today!

I think anyone who scrolled through this board will see Yank for exactly what he is....
Suggest he is best ignored.

No I haven’t - I picked almost every main stream listed gaming stock listed across Multiple exchanges.

I like that you are getting angry though, true colours starting to show.

I'm afraid we will need to disagree on that point of view. The company expects to record record financial results, It expects revenues of around £64m, ~237 pc increase year-on-year. Management is "comfortable" with broker revenue projections of £75 - £88m for the full year to May 2019 and it expects revenues to sit beyond the mid-point of this range. That is a very positive, solid and formal market update with clear guidance on what to expect in the published results. The level of disclosure IMO is also high To say there isn't anything positive is simply disingenuous and I think continues to undermine the occasional good point you make. The company have repeatedly provided guidance on when to expect details of their next release, and I expect will be received very positively when we find out what it is.In the meantime I'm apply to let the talented team at Frontier get on with it.

Although it'll be great to hear about the new game/see it launched/see it make money I'm just as excited about their plans for Elite: Dangerous and what that could do for the company.

Everyone has a different opinion, and we all have blinkers on to a certain degree else we would all agree, but I think this is a great discussion board as even opposing views to my own (other than the one troll) contribute and give pause to think and question.

Good post.
I personally don't think it will skyrocket, but I am relaxed as the long term fundamentals are excellent.

Suspect a reasonable rise, which will continue when the new game news starts getting released. Theres quite a buzz about the new game :-)

As a discussion board I don't personally see too many blinkers, just different agendas. There are a bunch of people on here who actually just like the company and it's games and have quite a long-term mindset to their investment (I'd put myself in this camp BTW). These people bought in at different levels so may be well up or down. There are certainly a few people trading it and looking for quicker returns - in which case frustrated. Fair enough, same for those who bought higher. Some have slightly more opaque agendas - I won't speculate as I frankly have no idea, but if you choose to spend your time in that way - again fair enough..I guess I'd say (and I appreciate it might be easier for me to do this) that "hope" isn't a good trading or investing strategy. If anybody is trading on hope then I'd say cut the losses and get out - take the loss and you will feel better. Put the money somewhere where you think it will be better deployed. I've been there myself in the past and it's always better to cut losses (unless of course we are talking a true lay significant amount - in which case the mindset needs to shift to it now being an investment).I don't really see too many issues here beyond market sentiment, the trading statement was excellent, it's a well run business, there will be news about a new franchise in due course, the story will continue to unfold.

Thanks for those couple of links czeck, both interesting. Tempted to argue why I don't think they're negative for FDEV though. Keeping my blinkers on. :-)

All I'm saying is many on here seemed to have their blinkers on. I'd like FDEV to do well and I'm not attempting to deramp but take a look around and this is not as great as many think; 2019 may prove to be another hard mountain to climb.

Ignoring him doesnt seem to be working. He's like a bad fart.

Anyway, Im also very confident of the results themselves! But as Mark has said, what the share price does in reaction to that is anyones guess! In terms of news from the company, they are in constant communication with their player base. In the end thats what matters as they are the ones buying the games and providing revenue. But its not the sort of news the market would care about. In that regard all they have to give is trading updates and info on future releases. Theres not really much else for them to say.

czeck, I'm confident that the interim financial results will be fantastic. What the share price does in reaction I'm not going to predict, been wrong too many times - I was expecting the share price to rocket on the recent trading update but it didn't.

I'm personally happy with FDEV's financial PR but your perspective is very relevant rar100 as the lack of news has contributed to the recent share price fall I'm sure. It's only long term holders like me who remembers the news and the potential therein from, say, a year ago and have the patience to wait for it to come to fruition.

Related to that article and the mention of the PS5. I see the new consoles as a great opportunity for FDEV. Planet Coaster isn't on the consoles for performance reasons, I believe, so hopefully it or similar games can be released for the new consoles too. JWE feels like a console game even on the PC - it will be nice if the two platforms are much closer in style.

NED Mitchell and wife probably thought there was going to be some good news and now as surprised as anyone at the continuing lack including radio silence on the next game. The question is do they dare to be seen selling like CEO Braben.

Not a lot of confident chat before results day on here; have we all eaten some humble pie and come to realise this is not going to rocket? News on Sony yesterday makes for a cautious outlook for the sector at large:

To be honest rar, most if not all stocks on the AIM market are subject to dodgy behaviour. Some of it is quite blatant, others less so. Remember that you're dealing with huge brokerage houses who have masses and masses of computers, all with a singular purpose to make money. Not only making money from the market but robbing the retail investors of their money too.

As an example, i have seen the MM's split the reporting of large rollover positions, where someone has to sell and re-buy that position to continue it, usually a T20 or similar. They will report the sell immediately, but delay the reporting of the buy to make the sell look like a legitimate sell and drive the share price down. They only throw in the buy much later once they have achieved their aim and hope no-one notices the delayed time stamp and puts two and two together.

At least for the past couple of weeks it seems as though Fdev has been left mostly alone in regards to this behaviour, possibly because of the low volume. Though at least it seems to have formed a base.
