23/12/2018 14:38 | JWE currently at no.5 on uk best sellers on steam. Thats out of all the games currently on sale over xmas! Obviously has a large discount, but every little helps. | endion
22/12/2018 13:53 | hxxps://www.pcgamesn Both pc and jwe make this articles too 10 on best management games | nimbo1
21/12/2018 19:41 | Have to say as a holder....this is not one of my better buys!. | discodave4
21/12/2018 16:36 | Merry Xmas to you all! | czeck
21/12/2018 05:54 | "Tencent Holdings shares jumped by as much as 4.2 percent on Friday after a regulatory official said that some new games have been cleared for sale after a lengthy freeze in approvals. Feng Shixin, a senior official of the ruling Communist Party's Propaganda department, said in a speech at a gaming conference in Haikou on Friday that a first batch of approvals for games had been completed, according a transcript of the speech and the organizers of the event. China, the world's biggest gaming market, stopped approving new titles from March amid a regulatory overhaul triggered by growing criticism of video games for being violent and leading to myopia as well as addiction among young users." | kamitora
20/12/2018 23:32 | Wish you all a happy Christmas. Just popped in, still holding and intend to continue to do so. Good luck for 2019 too. | p1nkfish
20/12/2018 22:07 | The reviews for JWE, after the various updates, are definitely improving - 71% on Steam now. Nice to see a good start in the Steam Sale with JWE and JWE Premium Edition firmly in the top 25 globally. I know they're heavily discounted (like so many games in the sale) but the chart is based on revenue so we know it's bringing good money in. I would have liked to see Planet Coaster a bit higher so will watch how that progresses, although today's DLC has had a very good reaction and is holding its own against all the sale items. | mark4231
20/12/2018 19:46 | And nice to see some positive views on potential game of the year article. Reviews in last 30 days at 84 percent - updates have made jwe a very good game - I know first hand as have been playing over last day or so. hxxps://www.pcgamesn | nimbo1
20/12/2018 18:56 | All of fdev games now have 75 percent off. Jwe now available at 75 percent off on page 1 steam. They’ve lumped all the updates into a package called premium. jwe normal at 3 and premium at 10 on global bestselling list. | nimbo1
20/12/2018 14:14 | This particular update will be quite popular as it addresses a framerate issue that has been ongoing in game. People always love new rides too, we've had plenty of scenery packs so its good to have something different. | endion
20/12/2018 13:11 | "Planet Coaster - Magnificent Rides Collection" No 2 on Steam even if perhaps only briefly | shanklin
20/12/2018 10:23 | Steam sale of Elite: Dangerous ends later today (Deluxe edition has spent almost all of the last week on the front page of Global Steam Top Sellers). Steam Winter Sale also starts later today, so expect Elite: Dangerous and just about everything else to be on sale for the next couple of weeks. Planet Coaster has just received an update and the Magnificent Rides DLC launched, after a couple of days delay, as FDEV found a serious issue with it that they wanted to fix first. hxxp://gametopseller | mark4231
20/12/2018 09:52 | Yanks googling skills and in depth critical analysis of the entertainment and gaming markets seem to know no bounds. A real treat for his readers. ;-) | anthony16731
20/12/2018 08:44 | Well, UK listed companies don't issue quarterlies, unlike US listed companies (the very largest UK businesses might issue Q1 and Q3 sales data but not financials). Google finance has its uses but is no substitute for the report and accounts. I'm old enough to remember when you had to write to the company to mail you a hard copy, now it's a few clicks away! Come on Yank, if you're going to post so prolifically, at least read the annual report. I used to post on the LSE site as Crypto and, as has been posted before, there was an interesting character called biglittle456 i think - genuine question is that you, Yank? We had some interesting discussions but i was never convinced of the bear case then and i'm not now. The markets (credit as well as equity markets) are showing all the signs of a liquidity squeeze where prices start to bear no relation to fundamentals. Personally i'm going to turn off the computer and enjoy Christmas. ATB to all posters on here, bulls and bears! | makw61
20/12/2018 07:52 | Yank"this latest fall in operating profit is fifteen times larger than any previous"Can you post up data to support this. They didn't issue quarters where did you get that from.To be honest most of what you post has been countered many times on here where it's been shown how little you actually know and what rubbish you post up. | discodave4
20/12/2018 02:58 | endion, your claim this profits fall is due to no new release in the FY is baloney. FDEV released its biggest game (Elite Dangerous) on the world's biggest console (Playstation). Fact is, it didn't sell enough to sustain profits. anthony1673119, rather than pin the share price plunge on FTSE and the sector, check the facts. FDEV is down 30% relative to FTSE100, down 45% relative to its sector, and is the worst performer in its sector, YTD. Source: Nov report from FDEV broker Liberum. dsct, those quarterly figures are from Google Finance sourced I am sure from the company's latest accounts. dsct, you can get an overview of the Jurassic World Evolution critic reviews from the aggregator sites like Metacritic.com, where JWE is absent from the Top 500 games of the year, and OpenCritic.com, where JWE is "in the bottom 48.2% of games scored based on 69 scored reviews" and "33% of critics recommend this game". Here's hoping for good news from FDEV soon such as well-overdue info about the next game. | yankhanson
19/12/2018 23:15 | To start - I've never filtered anyone on ADVFN, and doubt I ever will. I'd much prefer to read posts opposing my 'rose tinted spectacles view' of any share I hold, or am intending to invest in, as opposed to numerous rampy posts - not insinuating there are any/many here ! - it's not difficult to find one of 'these' threads somewhere on ADVFN ! lol. I can then check and decide if the bull or bear arguments are true (or more valid), and if needed, adjust my risk/reward ratio accordingly. I would like to know from @YankHanson: "what you call uninformed rubbish is the company's latest quarter's financials released only three months ago" I didn't realise, nor have I found FDEV's latest quarter financials. I presumed, and can only find interims (6 months) and finals (12 months) - could you advise? Aside from that, I'm not sure if this has been posted, nor how popular the website is, but as it's triggered a google news alert, there must be some viewers now (i.e. Me !): hxxps://www.pcgamesn To finish, I was quite (very, even) impressed with the recent Mello presentation by Alex Bevis (CFO), but unless I missed it, he didn't mention (enough?) their 'COBRA' technology. | dsct
19/12/2018 00:35 | endion, this latest fall in operating profit is fifteen times larger than any previous, so no I'm not buying your "business as usual" excuse. As for the broker forecasts, well if they were any good, they would have forecast that 60% share price fall following the Jurassic game release, wouldn't they? They could have spared their clients a lot of losses. | yankhanson
18/12/2018 21:33 | Yank You really are at the stage of making a fool of yourself.Your lack of understanding of investment is amazing and why you have zero credibility on this board. | largemerlot
18/12/2018 21:23 | We all know why there was a drop in revenue. It was entirely expected, predicted, and factored into all broker forecasts. Its happened every other year due to their not being a new release every year. This will change going forward as they grow to produce at least one game a year. Why Yank thinks that anything he says on here can influence the share price I dont know. Relatively speaking those who read this board are a minority of shareholders, and most who do are well informed anyway. Nothing he says here will make even the slightest bit of difference to the share price | endion
18/12/2018 21:07 | simonshare, what you call uninformed rubbish is the company's latest quarter's financials released only three months ago. Highly relevant to the share price drop under discussion, being "was £18 earlier this year with no major bad news to make it drop this far!". You have a better explanation for the share price losing 35% since the last financials? Let's hear it. | yankhanson
18/12/2018 19:58 | Click on his name and then select filter. I can thoroughly recommend it. :-) | mark4231
18/12/2018 19:51 | Is this yank for real? I think anyone with a basic knowledge would realise if you didn’t like a company you wouldn’t invest. Your all over this board like someone who’s taken out a short at a very low point :-) Now your putting financials from last financial year up as current ‘bad news’ I don’t mind opposing views, but uninformed rubbish to drive a short.... How do I block him? Anyone help me here? :-) | simonshare |
