We know that (well we think we do), its just a matter of the wider market realising it too and buying in. That is what successful investing is all about, identifying the shares to buy whilst they're cheap before the rest of the world notices. Of course we might be wrong and the rest of the world is right after all.

Like some others, I'm also mystified by the current share price weakness. Although Frontier haven't announced exact details of the next franchise, we know that "it's a very high profile franchise, which enjoys a global fanbase", and is a "project which promises to be equally exciting [as JWE]". Their recent update also confirms that they can very successfully deliver a high profile AAA title, so the next franchise looks very promising to me, and the shares deserved a significant uptick on confirmation of good sales. Still, I'll be keeping my shares as a long-term investment, and have no doubt that they'll do very well.

We just have to accept that there are those in the market that think it is a sell at this level. That's what a market is. For those accumulating buy as low as you can. I had an order filled at 13.65 but could have got cheaper it seems. Ultimately buyers have to overwhelm the sellers for the price to move up.

I didn't expect the share price to consolidate this low but am happy that JWE has now launched and is doing well (and that FDEV have confirmed it is doing well too). I only expect positive things going forward (other than the possibility of some 'black swan' event) and now just have to be patient for FDEV to announce them.

Sogoesit posted a chart earlier that shows the underlying uptrend in tact.
Today shows a potential turn on my chart. So guess we are now seeing lows.

Nice to see all 3 of frontiers games make the 2018 bestsellers so far. With JWE looking good. JWE is platinum and PC and ED are Bronze.

Endion I am honestly not surprised now I've had a chance to reflect - its up a lot over the course of 24 months, needs time to consolidate and at the moment we don't know for certain what fdev's future plans are. Concrete future plans are needed for the market to get excited...after all revenue which isn't repeatable deserves a PE of 1 so we all need to see the plans.

I see this as a consolidation period and a very nice opportunity for new buyers as I still believe we'll see £25 + over the next 6-12 months.

I'm very suprised we are still lounging around the 1380s after two rns's announcing that frontier are ahead of market expectations. Maybe until they have announced hard, exact sales figures the market won't believe them.

Is the best place to track steam sales chart position. And steam spy the only option for some kind of indication on sales figures.
Obviously the ongoing steam summer sale had effectively pushed Jurassic world down the charts. But the sale ends today so it should be back into the to sellers soon.

Valve are planning on launching something that effectively replaces steam spy. So I'd expect that to provide accurate sales figures. But no timeline on when it'll be available.


Anyway the current revised broker targets remain conservative after the upgrade IMO. So I'm expecting further upgrades over the year and looking forward to the next franchise being announced

Also, the top sellers list on Steam can give a rough idea of how popular a game currently is (for PC only) - just like the other methods it is an impression rather than any hard numbers. We could see that there were probably a lot of pre-orders for JWE as it was on the front page of the Global top sellers for about a month before launch.

Steamspy gives you approximations based on an algorithm it uses, explained on the site. You have to become a backer to get the more accurate results. That is for pc only. For consoles there are no figures, only best seller charts.

Saw another slew of sells go through at the bid price today when it was stacked against the ask at 15.04. Seems like our end of day seller is still active.
