25/6/2018 15:57 | According to steamspy there were 11.8 million views of youtube videos regarding JWE the last week, 62k comments and 50 new videos uploaded. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 15:35 | Thank you endion It has to be said that although FDEV is the biggest faller amongst them, many of the shares I am holding are none too happy SP-wise currently. | ![]() shanklin
25/6/2018 15:32 | Good to have you back Shanklin! Lets hope it doesnt linger down here too long. However regardless of the short term the figures can't lie, and they are looking very good indeed. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 14:39 | Markets are currently weak so it is not necessarily FDEV specific. In weak markets selling is indiscriminate therefore we could even fall further. | ![]() allstar4eva
25/6/2018 14:39 | I really enjoy market falls in my favourite conviction picks - they are money making opportunities providing you have cash to take advantage. Stocks go up and down, doesn’t mean the company isn’t doing v well - you forget how much more you might know than the rest of the market - particularly if you’ve been obsessively watching the charts and you tube viewing / twitch viewing numbers etc... | ![]() nimbo1
25/6/2018 14:38 | endion Yes, I agree. Having reflected on comments here, so far today I have bought back 3/4 of the shares I sold on Friday. | ![]() shanklin
25/6/2018 14:29 | I wad expecting a fall from the peak but not by this far. I still think the market are underestimating this a lot. It makes you wonder if people were willing to buy at £17 consistently just over two weeks ago, on the prospect of a good game, why people are now hesitant when the good game has been released and proven. Like I've said before, trying to understand daily share price moves on aim is a path to madness. An element of this could be that people were expecting the fourth franchise to be announced alongside the JWE release as thats what they originally said. So some of the momentum will have been deflated by the delay. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 14:10 | £18.25 was the highest EOD price on 05-Jun-18. It has been a swift and seemingly unjustified share price fall. | ![]() shanklin
25/6/2018 13:12 | Ah yes, my bad, i forgot that the share price spiked before the game release then drifted down the first weeks of june. In that case they seem to be doing fairly well so far! When they do buy back, which may be soon as I cant see this dropping much further, then that should help the share price Apologies for the wrong info. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 13:04 | endion, at the end of May the share price was around £18. | ![]() mark4231
25/6/2018 12:10 | 30 May was when it was reported. | ![]() hpcg
25/6/2018 12:03 | Bennbridge Ltd do have a short position on this, shorttracker no longer states when the short was opened only when it was last updated. May 30th was either when it was last updated or when it was opened, it remains at 0.5%. I don't remember Frontier having any short positions before May, so this was opened when the share price was still a fair bit below where it is now. They will have to close it at some point to mitigate their losses. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 11:41 | Anyway, accumulated at 1485p... let's see if I can get my average down in this phase! | ![]() sogoesit
25/6/2018 11:37 | You are both probably right, though I have witnessed MM's doing strange things with the share price quite a few times in the past (in relation to other shares on aim). Sometimes to my benefit and sometimes not, one time there was a seller who was dumping vast amounts of shares and yet the share price stayed exactly put, another time there were only buys all day with one or two sells and yet the share price went down etc etc. This is aim after all and as such is more open to manipulation. Regardless of the short term, this is going up to new highs in the coming months. Bring on a sales update! Hopefully in July. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 11:27 | Agree hpcg. I think we are seeing the end of traders selling who were in for a short term trade on the launch of JWE. Once this settles down I'd expect to see a slow drift back up as we head towards the next announcements. Looking back since last September, this price action is not unusual. | liam1om
25/6/2018 10:11 | I don't hold any truck with the "MMs manipulating the bid" anymore for a company I'm long than for a company I'm short. Level 2 has shown some periods of relatively keen selling, though as I type looks quite balanced. The price reflects supply and demand at any point in time and that is all there is too it. | ![]() hpcg
25/6/2018 10:00 | I agree makw61 and with everyone here really. The market is waiting for hard sales figures from the company. In the meantime we here on this thread have used what information is available to us to estimate sales of JWE and those figures suggest that the share price should be greater than its peak of £18 and some much much more than £18. So, it's just be patient and hold tight really. I think we have an advantage over bigger investors - I can't imagine institutional investors monitoring reddit, steam review numbers, twitch viewership or amazon charts as closely as we have. | ![]() mark4231
25/6/2018 09:52 | Just a matter of waiting for the trading update now; suspect early to mid-July with potentially announcement of the fourth franchise at the same time. Surprised that the fourth title hasn't leaked (impressive!) and that management don't consider it price sensitive. A judgement call for them of course but if the market likes it and the price spikes then recent sellers may feel a bit disgruntled? Chart positions for JWE on steam and amazon all look fine to me. Steam sales are massive as many gamers only ever buy discounted titles. The Valve servers last thursday were absolutely creaking on the first day of the sale, but reassuring to see JWE gradually move back up after that initial rush and also PC performing very well. 25/6/2018 09:21 | Yes it is unexpected to drop this far, having said that it can recover just as quickly. The mm's have dropped it on very minimal selling volume, there has since been a fair bit of buying and yet the mm's arent letting it rise to the same degree. Maybe a large order being worked. | ![]() endion
25/6/2018 09:17 | Sogoesit - agreed. I’ve seen blue prism go from 16-10. Wand from 8-5. Among my 2 Best holdings along with fdev. Each time the dip was a strong buy. Same here and I bought some at 14.70 ish this am | ![]() nimbo1
25/6/2018 09:14 | Disappointing market reaction... so far. Guidance for the past year is "ahead of market expectations" so guess that we will have to be patient for some news, figures from management. It is a young company after all so news dependent and volatility go with that. | ![]() sogoesit
