Brucie hindsight is a wonderful thing... anyone can wish they sold in the upper 40s... I must say that like many investors I find it much easier knowing when to buy than when to sell... I had hoped that we had found some stability around 27p (just below the placing price) but it's only in the last couple of days that clearly news of the announcement has leaked out...I don't think anyone could have foreseen this irrational EU judgement...One blessing (and another sign of astute management) is that they did manage to get a substantial placement away at what now looks like a good price... so they don't have cash worries for 12-18 months hopefully...I think the long-term future is still good, and the management are flexibly changing strategy... but it's now substantially more long-term...GLA NAI

Nope but I can see this being resolved in relatively short order. What with the prospect of leaving the EU and/or the fact they manufacture in Scotland and the Scottish govn. Only recently bringing attention to the jobs this co. Has created in Livingston. They're in my sipp so I'll take the short term hit which was clearly known about yesterday!

Cyber, you seem like a highly intelligent person, but I keep wanting to ask, why risk your capital on shares that it a downwards spiral? Surely it's one thing to be wrong sided by a share turning below its trend line, but to keep invested in a downward trend is a sure path to value destruction? Forgive me if this sounds out of turn, but I've seen this happen so many times... and done a bit of it myself. Look at the chart: this does not look like turning any time soon.

I have no position here thankfully.

As posted on 10 Feb'15 - 22:24 - 2523 of 3285

the pattern (colored in pink) is near completion. The RSI is oversold too. We should see a pull back to the up side now. However this may not last very long as another pattern is in making. Short term long positions can work for now. (No advise intended, please do your own research)

This was the old pattern that I posted in Feb and has worked:

New Cypher Pattern is in making:

Nice volume, and has gone blue. All the signs of a bottoming and reversal, touch wood. However I think we will need to see concrete progress in the coming weeks, to get much above 30p... If we got news on an international MOU, for example...Personally I am taking the lack of news on international trials as positive. *If* we assume, after 10 years of development and testing, and the involvement of prestigious manufacturers and partners like Jabil, that the boiler does actually work properly (!!) then it seems hard to understand why there would be any technical barriers to it working in continental Europe. The mains voltage is the same and it should work 'out of the box'. The matter of regulatory approval should be dealt with by the CE certification. I imagine delays might be caused however about considering the business model, local FIT levels, negotiating volumes of boilers etc etc. It's also the case that major corporates often move glacially slowly on business decisions, especially on any new technology....Let's see.

Yes, and that's why we have fallen a punishing 50% in the last few months. My view is that investors seem willing to support the company around these levels moving forward. Now the company need to pull their fingers out and deliver!GLA

cyber - that's a very sanguine approach but I think you'll find most people don't like targets being missed, especially when there's a history of it.

Exactly cyber, just think of the number of commercial/office premises, long term let property, holiday let property, council homes etc which a "free" boiler could be fitted to the benefit of the landlord.
