Details of the new "connect" tariff now on flow energy site....

Quite a drop from existing tariff and presumably bumps flow up the best buy tables.

The biggest conundrum to me isn't about the boiler. It's why do people on this thread bother with this boorish oaf.

Your first link is the Bluegen from an Aussie company, Ceramic Fuel Cells (CFU).
I have mentioned this a few times on various threads, bb's.
It is based on a ceramic fuel cell, generating 1kW power at about 60% electrical efficiency. Only enough waste heat for hot water, so not a like for like replacement of a boiler.
So issues were with route to market and cost...more than £15k...CFU have recently folded.

SW3...London. Over 60% of households in London are in archetypes 5 and 6, low energy users. Only about 6% of London homes are in archetype 12 and possibly suitable for the launch boiler.

Where I live

Check out the uk weather, on the whole v good.

What kind of fool will have their heating on in th warmer days and here, only had the heating on a few days in the month and a few evenings - never mind come May/June/July/August - a fundamental flaw of colossal dimensions along with the install price of about 1800 pounds.

Warmer weather not just in the south but uk wide now with us.

We will see in Sept how much eletric was produced by these boilers that cost about 1800 quid to install

Your choice what you do.

LOL

Trust me chumps, your happy noises and taking lame shots at me, you will pay for it in the end.

I may join in sub 20p and hopefully closer to 10p and for a quick kill, not a long term hold unless lumbered with it.

Until the combi boiler comes on line and at a much more reasonable price, trend is sout, fact

The choice is yours, as always

FIT rates confirmed from the review? ... 13.45p/kWh until 31st March 2016 so any mCHP boilers fitted in April will get the 1.6% increase?

Thought I would respond to one of Flows many interesting tweets to ask "when to expect a combi version" their response was "Many thanks for your Tweet we are hoping to have a combi version early next year. Warm Regards Flow"

All coming together nicely imo.
