09/3/2015 20:34 | To generate electric with the flow boiler, any meaningful electric, has to turned on to a very high setting. So imagine, come the warmer weather and here in London we have not had the heating on for a few days already and was wearing shorts and t/shirt at home - so if I had a flow boiler, I'd be sweating like a cow, wasting money on heating that I did not need, feeling uncomfortable, to produce a bit of eletric having paid 1800 to have installed. A very good combi bolier that will give me heat, and hot water on tap for approx 1400 quid, 7 yr free warranty, saving up to 20% on gas with their newer boilers A+ rated - ita a win win. Flow boiler only has 2 yr warranty and untested longer term in the open market on a large scale, who knows what the repairs costs will be. The Cassette boiler is a fantastic boiler, I'd go for it as if it broke down, repaired in minutes and timed appts. In my firm judgement I can see this share price spike a bit and then within 6 months test 10p. A great idea, but sadly not for a country with weather that results in no heating turned on for at least half of the year - a big NO BO THE CHOICE IS YOURS TO FILL-YA-BOOTS, HOLD&HOPE OR BAIL OUT FOX YOU | fox you
09/3/2015 20:05 | With the Cassette boiler they are making income on the service contract. £264 a year. As the website suggests it seems geared towards housing associations where they need to manage a large number of properties and want to give a quick repair service to tennants. As a private homeowner you would need to consider that after 5 years the total cost will have been £2620 and it will continue to cost £264/year to keep the service contract going. Compared to the Flow deal...after 5 years you will have paid £1500 (£1800 less £300 extra in the guaranteed payback) and after 5 years the boiler continues to make savings on the electricity. (Adding £60 year for service cancels out the £300 so you have paid £1800) With such as a Vaillant you pay between £1200 to £2000 with 7 year guarantee, and just about £60 year for service. No continued savings. When you come to need a new boiler, the choice is yours... | larry335
09/3/2015 16:45 | Investoree, will be interesting to hear what cassette boiler have to offer and confirmation of how much it costs for a private residence. I read somewhere it was (variable) installation + 1300 in first year + 22/month thereafter. Not sure if that is for single unit or bulk purchase by housing association. | grandwood

09/3/2015 16:11 | That is only 2 points , Chump. Really FoxYou, I think you need to take a break now because every extra post serves only to devalue your credibility - I just cannot imagine why you carry on in this vein. Your life mut be very sad indeed. | mesquida
09/3/2015 16:05 | Cheers Investoree The Flow boi;ler is already fundamentally flawed, the main three points Too expensive 1800 to install and for less than that you can have supplied and fitted a good make of combi bolier with hot water, free 7 yr warranty and A+ effeicny The flow boiler to get eletric you have to have it on on a powerful setting - we,ve not had the heating on for a few days - so will people swelter in May, June July and Augest and fist part od Sept - then waste money trying to get a free beit of eletric I rest my case THE CHOICE IS YOURS Fox You | fox you
09/3/2015 15:12 | I have registered an interest with the cassette boiler manufacturers for a visit sometime during the next few weeks with the boiler available from June 2015. Will post an update as and when further info is available and an asessment has been made as to what will be in our best interests for a replacement boiler. | investoree
09/3/2015 13:56 | Does the poster above not realise some of us who saw this opportunity earlier have already made huge percentage gains and are now quite happy to hold a sensible amount knowing full well new technology sometimes succeeds and sometimes doesn't? I'm pretty sure most people who invest on AIM know this. | uppompeii
09/3/2015 13:11 | No heating again today - so where does that leave the Fow boiler??? Never mind the warmer months Competiton reife and Cassette new competition emerges Cost of 1800 installation for heating bolier only - lol - as you can get a Valaint with 7 yrs free guarantee, supply and fitted for 1400 quid and trusted and tested boilers at that face it chumps - good product but not going to make mega bucks for shareholders as far as i can see but as always THE CHOICE IS YOURS Fox You | fox you
09/3/2015 10:21 | looks like the cassette boiler site is still under construction.... | grandwood
09/3/2015 09:09 | uppompeii Hot water: It will have a separate hot water circuit. They have a combi or system boiler version. It also has a very wide modulating range...28kW down to 2.5kW...which means they can produce one product and meet a wide range of heating requirements. Of course I guess this means that extra cost (and size) of the large heat exchanger is in each device produced whether it is needed or not. Whilst it has a few good points, it does nothing to address the issues that the mCHP products attempt to solve...strain on the grid and rising costs of the grid maintenance... | larry335
09/3/2015 09:01 | Go read the late Felix Dennis respected views about good business ideas ... they're 10 a penny ... it's execution that counts. Anyone cognizant of the skinny innovative timeline of plumbing/heating business knows that it is totally resistant to change. Sales channels aside, there's the training of installers, not to mention finding the risk capital to take an expensive widget into meaningful production, and on-going working capital requirements. All of these big ticket items have been elegantly addressed by Flow and leave me scratching my head as to crackers valuation. Oh, nearly forgot to mention the ace up their sleeve ... vertical integration as a respected energy supplier. | staverly
09/3/2015 08:44 | Heating off again today as sun is out and already more than warm in the living room So what idiots will have their boilers on on very hot, or warm days especially during June, July, Augusts, most of May and September and days like the last few days in March and October - ie waste energy/money, gas by having the heating on when not needed and sweating like an animal. Then you got new competition like the Casette boiler, fraction of the price, no repair worries and if it does break down, no waiting for parts, fixed in minutes. The you have the combi boilers with almost standard free 5/7 and odd one with 10 yr guarantees cost a fraction easily supplied and installed for 1400 - where as Flow boiler is 1800 installation Yes, it will take time for the facts to sink in and I guess when the share price hits 10p, some may agree with me As always, the choice is yours if you add, hold or sell Fox You | fox you

09/3/2015 07:34 | I think the cassette boiler is a good idea. It seems designed to solve a real issue with repairs and servicing especially for apartment blocks, group housing etc. In these situations, landlords and owners put in the cheapest equipment which tends to fail more regularly. Horses for courses. If only it could generate electricity... | larry335
09/3/2015 06:14 | The advantages of the Cassette Boiler: 1: With no purchase costs and fixed monthly payments covering all maintenance, repair and replacement, budgeting is less of a headache” 2:EFFICIENT “Our Cassette boiler has reduced our gas bills by over 20%” 3: “It’s real peace of mind knowing that maintenance on the boiler is safety certified” 4: DEPENDABLE “We knew when the engineer was arriving and the repair was done within minutes, so we could get on with our lives” hxxp://www.cassetteb It will take a few weeks for the reality to sink into the thick skulls of share holders but this is a fantastic boiler but no water and what they say about the repair, a few minutes and one visit, 100% great stuff. I am now of the firm opinion that the Flow boiler is on the whole doomed . The choice is yours to buy, sell or hold, but my previous statements that I may buy at/about 22/25p are out of the window. Now my share price target is 10p within next 2/6 months ATB n Another warm day here is london and we are only in first few days of March - so who will have their boiler on to make eletric unless they want to feel very hot and waste energy VISIT TH CASSETTE BOILER SITE AND SEE WHO THEY ARE SELLING TO - READY TO GO AND IN THE MARKET AS USUAL, THE CHOICE IS YOURS TO BUY, SELL OR HOLD ATB Fox You | fox you
09/3/2015 02:11 | Cassette offering: typical DM hyped story given the product is still at such a tender stage. The corporate graveyard is littered with clever and innovative mousetraps. | staverly
08/3/2015 18:43 | Cassette boiler: I wonder why nobody thought of that before... I guess the quality and design of the seals to the flue are critical. I think the Cassette boiler patent specifically covers the whole boiler unit being removable. | larry335
08/3/2015 17:14 | I wonder if there is any overlap (and potentially conflict) between the two companies IP? Here's one of flow's patents.... And this looks like the cassette boiler equivalent.... | grandwood

08/3/2015 16:29 | Larry, interesting concept and very similar to what flow are doing with their generation module; sealed unit, replaced as a whole if any problems. Except flow will replace it for free in first10 years if customer still with them for energy supply! Opportunity to get together with the cassette folks in the future to modularise the rest of the flow boiler perhaps? | grandwood
08/3/2015 11:29 | IMO this Cassett boiler will be bought out by a major who will build in the concept to their boilers | fox you
08/3/2015 10:57 | Cassette boiler sounds interesting. They have a website: | larry335 |
