28/2/2015 19:37 | [...] hxxp://www.proactive Oh looky, first article I look at.... "Ceres’s mistake was to believe it could become the maker of these heat and electricity units. It lined up British Gas as its route to market, while the utility also became a major shareholder. The events of recent years have proven conclusively that this was not the correct route to commercialising the technology." | uppompeii
28/2/2015 19:30 | An excellent article from JULY 2012, I wonder could any other well educated contributor update us on progress over the last 3 years? | uppompeii
28/2/2015 18:06 | British Gas hard at CHP boilers hxxp://www.building4 So where does that leave FG? Anyway, the choice is yours if you buy, sell or hold, lol ATB and all that BS Fox You BELOW THE ARTICLE From the link - lol British Gas and Itho-Daalderop are to buy, install and trial 174 Ceres Power fuel cell micro combined heat and power (CHP) units across a range of homes. The UK and Dutch firms have signed an agreement to put the units to the test, starting in 2014, as part of Ceres Power’s preparation for the mass market launch of its technology in 2016. The trial micro-CHP products will be made available to the public with a full service and maintenance package – provided by British Gas in the UK and Itho-Daalderop in the Netherlands. Ceres and its partners will use feedback to refine the product and validate performance and operability in the field to prepare for its 2016 launch. Ceres’ module is based on solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology and operates on mains natural gas. The wall‐mounted unit can generate all heating and hot water and most electricity to supply a typical UK home all year round, being designed to replace a conventional central heating boiler and using the same gas, water and electricity connections. The company has been improving the durability of the technology, and has also commissioned an independent review of costs from Booz & Company, working with AEA Technology. The review validated the variable cost estimates of Ceres’ 1kW CHP product, which are approximately £2,500 a year per 20,000, and approximately £1,750 per 100,000. | fox you

27/2/2015 23:39 | Honnestly chumps, I've got this feeling. Most will agree with me that educated people like me can see very clearly from the sidelines ie when not in the SP So here, read, digest and then the choice is yours: I will let you lot know in 6 months if I was wrong. I'm 99:99% cert that I'm spot on. My ability to read certain SP's is astounding to say the least. ==================== IMO the boiler is fundamentally flawed in a several ways at the very least. The price of boiler. The price of installation. No hot water. Electric only produced when heating is on and if you live in the out of the uk, trust me pal, most people wont have their heating on for a goof solid 4 months of the year and the other months, on and off. You don't need to agree with me as I've already have my biggest and most important fan on my side, ie the SP DYOR and never fall in love with a SP Fox you | fox you
27/2/2015 22:00 | Foxy, how can we trust you any more? Where is the BG link you promised? Were you lying about that? | larry335

27/2/2015 20:13 | BG don't manufacture boilers but they test and trial boilers regularly. They are testing/trialling boilers (to market) at the moment... | larry335
27/2/2015 20:04 | It would be a blast if BG were evaluating the market leader in compact mCHP boilers. Never seen a BG boiler myself, they just re-sell and install those being made by the manufacturers don't they? Would be a coup to bag them. | uppompeii
27/2/2015 19:57 | Just for fox you: Flow Energy hope the boiler cost will drop by £1,675 during this year.http://www.clim | fs360

27/2/2015 18:37 | Still think we need to break out and stay above 36p to confirm upward trend imo | 1fox1
27/2/2015 18:21 | 1fox1 - trust me, Cenkos are definitely buying. | mesquida
27/2/2015 18:20 | Indeed, somebody paid 34p for a relatively modest amount just before the bell. And so far there is no sign of any large purchase being trade reported for today, so maybe Cenkos did not actually get much of the stock that they were looking for. Call me cynical, but why do I have the feeling that we are about to hear something on the European front ?! | mesquida
27/2/2015 18:19 | mesquida who says Cenkos are buying? | 1fox1
27/2/2015 18:13 | Looks good for next week | nw99 |
