Partly agree, I think people will accept the current normal life and move on. It will put people off for now but next year will be a different story. Long term hold if you can.

volsung, I've thought long and hard about this too and come to the conclusion you're right. What little stock I held here has now been dumped.

'Jet2 tells some holidaymakers in Spain to come home early'

Jet2 is contacting some customers on Spain's Balearic and Canary Islands to ask them to end their package holidays early, the BBC has learned.

Hundreds of customers have had flights back to the UK cancelled and been asked to return sooner than planned.

Jet2 said it cannot keep sending empty planes to pick up passengers on many different dates.

If you look at EasyJet’s twitter feed you’ll see literallly HUNDREDS of people saying they haven’t had a penny out of EasyJet many months after claiming their refund. They can’t get through on the phone, they can’t email and they are resorting to credit card Section 75 claims instead (which is unfair on the banks frankly). It’s an absolute disgrace from EasyJet, Ryanair and IAG (and others I’m sure).

Ryanair has drawn criticism from customers for continuing to operate flights to mainland Spain and the Spanish Islands against government advice, while also not offering customers the option of a refund or free change of flights.

Customers are therefore being forced to decide whether to travel against government guidelines or to stay at home and lose the money spent on their flights.

Meanwhile easyJet is also planning to continue its scheduled flights to the country, but intends to closely monitor the situation.

Unlike Ryanair - easyJet customers wanting to amend their flights due to the new travel guidance, along with customers with flights scheduled within 14 days have the option to change their flights at no extra cost.

However, Virgin wasn't the only airline to come under criticism in the CAA's report. EasyJet was taking 90 days to process refund requests before the CAA demanded it improve.

The airline took on extra staff process refund claims, and is now doing them in less than 30 days, the CAA said.

Ryanair was taking 10 weeks or more for give consumers their money back, the CAA said.

It is the only airline threatened with action by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which has reviewed the refund waiting times of 18 major airlines

I don't think you can blame BAME for their genetic make-up.

It's the yoof running on their summer rampage, from Miami to Mallorca to the Black Sea. Just as the 2nd wave of Spanish Flu mainly affected young partying returnees from WW1.
