2 of my best friends live in Spain (MAD and BCN), Barcelona is NOT good and he's been told to stay in (no lockdown yet)... the Home O will advise this week if they are to re introduce 14 day quarantine for anyone coming back from Spain (and other EU countries)...

They got the placing away at 703With major investors buying. Flight restrictions are easing. There is no second wave in Europe. Isolated outbreaks are not a second wave.A vaccine is on the way. The European union has agreed a finance package so easy jet destinations will be on the up.Hold steady this is a tree shake.Even if stelios is throwing the rattle out of the pram.The summer holidays still have time also a lot of people travel at Christmas.

This is one of the few airlines I think will survive and make a strong come back in due course. But the pressure on the price for the last 4-5weeks has been relentless.

I am amazed by the share price reaction to the great news from Oxford yesterday. I think the scientists are being very cautious but the trials in South Africa and Brazil have been running for sometime now so if they get results by September there is every possibility than mass vaccination will be well underway this year and if it works as seems more than likely its back to normal service in time for next Spring and Summer. Much better than I thought. I think we could see the share price heading towards 10 quid by middle of next year.

Market report:

Friction between pilots and the company came to a head when the Balpa union revealed more than 2,000 Easyjet pilots said they had no confidence in the company's operations chief Peter Bellew.

Balpa has criticised the executive for misjudging the pandemic and proposing pilot redundancies at a scale for which they say there was 'no justification'.

Easyjet has called on the union to 'focus on working constructively with us rather than on personal attacks which are not in the best interests of our employees'.

Shares fell 3.2 per cent, or 22.2p, to 663p by the close as tensions also flared up with another key stakeholder, outspoken founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou.

He has taken his family's stake down from marginally below 30 per cent to 28.7 per cent.

Until recently they owned more than a third of Easyjet's shares – but an explosive fall-out over a £4.5billion order for new planes with Airbus caused such deep damage it has led Stelios to sell down.
