28/7/2020 00:39 | This looks bleak. Booking behaviours will shift now - travellers will be risk averse in increasing numbers. How many blows before this one goes down...... | pander45
27/7/2020 23:05 | Realistically it's around 6 months before the first doses are available- that's provided everything goes well. Vaccines unfortunately are not like antibiotics, where industrial scale quantities can usually be manufactured quickly and with comparitive ease. There are different methods being used, so for example the Imperial College vaccine is reportedly more quickly scalable than some others. I know someone in his mid 30's who was hospitalised with this. spent 5 days in hospital and was catheterised on admission, said he wont forget that too soon. No existing health conditions, non smoker and a healthy weight. | essentialinvestor

27/7/2020 16:45 | People will still go on holiday to Spain even with the quarantine rules and it would seem EZJ have got the monopoly on the flights then. How is the quarantine even policed anyway? | asusasus
27/7/2020 16:36 | Jet2 cancels all holidays and flights to mainland Spain. Flights and holidays will be suspended from tomorrow (28 July) until 16 August. Just 24 hours earlier Jet2 had confirmed it would not be cancelling holidays and flights to Spain and advised customers to arrive for their flights as normal. This sparked fury among many customers. | loganair

27/7/2020 11:37 | Fwiw, big change in tone from RYA today, who now appear to expect air travel to remain subdued for several years. Flag up a second COVID wave as a main risk factor. That's as obvious as snow, as if we didn't know. | essentialinvestor
