We just did 40 plus and 15/20% next year.

Tong
I was quoting you saying "buy when rising"
I prefer to buy when its falling if I believe I am right and the market is wrong

That's clearly what happened here as it has many times.
DART at more than 1/2 the size of EASY is still off radar to most city boys.

Any one got any views as to whether Dart will be interested in any of the Monarch slots and the financial implications thereof?

I'm guessing the pull back today is read across from Thomas Cook. However, I'm seeing positives for Dart in the poor update from Thomas Cook. Firstly I think Jet2 are eating into their market share, and secondly if Jet2 are growing profits in a challenging macroeconomic UK climate, there is potential for further growth in the long run once conditions turn more favourable.

New theory. Tongo is not a person but a faulty BOT based is some far away land. It's proto type that keeps malfunctioning and its code has not yet been refined. Hence all the faulty logic and crazy arguments. Judging by its last post it may be on the verge of blowing up!

My opinion is that Dart will be trading at 850p at the least this time next year.
Market may not be pricing in how Dart's operating assets (PPE etc.) are effectively partly funded in the form of float (deferred revenue etc.)
Can anybody tell me what Dart does with this cash sitting on the balance sheet that is not restricted?
Is it invested somewhere (short term money markets etc.)?

You don't see the fault in your own logic. If you buy on the way up and sell on the way down, you are by definition part of the crowd. You are the proverbial candle in the wind.

As I buy when the share price is falling, I am therefore going against the crowd.

There's only one thicko around here and I don't think it's me!

Good luck shining big ben.

I never doubted your inability to engage in cold facts when challenged. Certain things don't change do they?My approach is buy on the way up and sell on the way down shoe shining funny man. Google James Simons / Marty Schwartz / Stan Druckenmiller to see what I mean. There is no one (remind you of someone?) who ever made it as a fund manager in this business and who is not aware of the above (ie. you keep proving my point re your real profession). Not that your thick head will learn something but so that you become aware (you never will though as you're part of the proverbial crowd) that there is more than one way how to make money.

We'd all be shining shoes if we followed your advice! But sadly you'll be left sitting in the corner with the brasso and Big Ben. No worries we'll throw you a penny or two as we walk pass. You've been worth the entertainment.

So 700p is the right entry price? Hmmm interesting as I'd be up 1% so far. Genius! All the upside from 80-16p would have been a mistake. Even more interesting. Just wish you'd been around sooner as I'd be so much wealthier.

Thank you for making my point. Obviously you have REAL trouble reading and understanding other people's views (as I have said all along). What does the last paragraph of my earlier post tell you???...Unless DTG breaks north of 700p (i.e. your fundamental view being validated by market action), you are wrong in assuming you have the downside protected.HmmmmIf you want to be taken as an adult start acting as one and get your facts straight. PS. As for your 80p entry point, hindsight is a wonderful thing innit. Anyone can say anything on an anonymous board without backing things up but very few make claims that are 100% backed by their posting history as and when it happened. It's called integrity and I am one of them (in case you still don't get it ALL my claims on trading DTG are found on my historical postings of this board). Ps.

No doubt my 80-16p entry price (at 80% discount to the value of net assets with no debt) was a just a silly mistake. And holding on for over 10 years. That also looks to have been a serious error. And not selling when the share price fell 30% that too was idiotic for words. And buying more on dips makes me an imbecile (e.g the financial crisis 16-20p, Ryannair putting two planes in Bradford 40p, the Iceland Volcano 50p, the passengers suing for late flights 200p, the announcement of Stanstead expansion 500p).

And all this time, "markets VERY RARELY (last major one was in late 2008/early 2009 ) make mistakes and miss super growth opportunities".

A very interesting definition of rare!

But hell, what do I know? I just shine shoes.

Ah yes. It's time for some insight from Drongo about the triple bell end formation. He's just learnt to read - thank goodness for phonetics - but not sure he's moved behind two syllables.
