15/9/2016 08:26 | The trading and insider info leaks yesterday utterly disgraceful btw, the company should investigate it | hydrus
15/9/2016 08:25 | A fairly poorly worded statement. I can understand the weather point as actually it hasn't been a great BBQ weather year despite the temperature being quite high. Not clear on the football or Brexit points. With yesterday's fall include this is s circa 45% fall, which is very steep, but then again any false steps for a growth stock are likely to be punished hard. The point about a change in strategy suggests management believe there is an inherent issue with high street stores. I imagine they are still a good bet overall and profitable but footfall is more variable than the 'destination' stores. | hydrus
15/9/2016 08:24 | If I were Noel, I’d be looking out my office window in Hellaby thinking I really should buy some shares. | playful
15/9/2016 08:22 | Tough morning. Almost back to break even for me. I will be a buyer once the share price settles. | fozzie
15/9/2016 08:20 | This sounds like the Dart profit warning, where the shares dropped a third and then tripled over the next 2/3 years. The price dropped from 270 to 180 and stabilised around 220. The important thing is that they have strategies in place to deal with this. SO they are not sitting on there hands wondering what to do. The other point to bear in mind is that margins have been higher which in part has offset some of the loss in revenue. | jch18
15/9/2016 08:18 | opto - i'm jesting of course but it does seem like the jungle drums were beating! | melody9999
15/9/2016 08:16 | melody999, looking at yesterdays trades it looks very likely that some people had information that we didn't have. I hope that this is looked into! | optomistic
15/9/2016 08:15 | I can't see how Brexit and Football impacts meat sales. Poor excuses. The supermarket price war is a short term concern so something doesn't feel right. The PE was way too high before today so the 35% drop is in my opinion the start of a correction so Craw is more reasonably valued | richard98765
15/9/2016 07:53 | 53 - 55 spread. | skinny
15/9/2016 07:52 | never realised meat sales were so dependent on football tournaments. looking at the SP, was this TU released to a subset of the population a couple of days ago?! | melody9999
15/9/2016 07:52 | It's a warning. Disappointing and I expect we will see sub 60 on it. Not a problem for long termers as we all realise this is a long game and we have good management who are able to react to changes in shopping patterns as is evidenced in the statement re factory outlets. | fozzie
15/9/2016 07:50 | i dont think a large chain of butchers has ever made it | penciles2
15/9/2016 07:48 | Hmmm - Peel Hunt Under Review 51.50 - - Under Review | skinny

15/9/2016 07:08 | So is that a profit warning or is it not a profit warning? Very oddly written statement. | funkmasterp12
14/9/2016 23:12 | Agreed, I haven't seen a post from Gengulphus that isn't worth reading. | quemaster
14/9/2016 20:29 | Gengulphus, Thank you for your post on this thread. It is pleasing to see that you show such interest in such a small company. If you are invested in CRAW I wish you well and would be pleased to know that I am in in the company of such an educated person. Regards opto | optomistic
14/9/2016 20:09 | Are you feeling ok? | hydrus
14/9/2016 19:49 | I know for a fact that trade in butchers is poor at present,I don't know how this company can recruit honest staff that know how to butcher meat properly.meat and money all to easy. | penciles2

14/9/2016 18:28 | If you guess that something will happen that's attention seeking rather than insider dealing, so the doctor is innocent :-) | quemaster
14/9/2016 16:03 | You may find the Blacks Law Dictionary of use in future,,, Black's Law Dictionary is: "The use of material non public information in trading the shares of the company by a corporate insider or any other person who owes a fiduciary duty to the company”. Those cheeks blushing up yet? | evil_doctor_facilier |
