Another day of all sells, although not so many today.
With the ints coming up on the 29th it would be good to see more positivity in the market for CRAW....I keep doing my bit by buying the products, nothing to complain about there :-))

There was one trade which went through for 410k shares at 81p which accounts for most of the volume today.

Not been a very good trading day for the shares today with 465.5K shares sold against 14.4K shares bought...pleasantly surprised the share price didn't slip of on those trades.
Aaahh the mysteries of shares :-/

Perhaps tomorrow all will be revealed.

I reckon genuine, proper grumps get a rough ride at times!

I'd rather have characters (providing they can do the job) than the sickly / American / lemmings 'have a nice day' insincerity rollocks.

optomistic....nothing wrong with you being the mystery shopper and just gently mentioning it to the head of customer relations at HQ if you really think it is a problem or even suggesting it to the store manager. If more than just you mention the same thing then clearly there is an issue.

My town has two outlets so I tend to watch them (as well as buy the meats)unfortunately there is the odd staff member who is not as cheerful as could be expected. I wonder if the head office sends out mystery shoppers to keep an eye on staff pleasantness. It would keep them on their toes if they did.

Charter Walk, Burnley - if you look at the store guide pdf there's no mention of Crawshaw. I've emailed them - and emailed Crawshaw. This strikes me as sloppy both by the shopping centre and by the Crawshaw new store team - surely they should both be on top of such v simple issues.

I have said it before we should have an X factor competition and all our stores are invited to enter their best shoutout people, so we can find our champion.

Yes great opportunites for CRAW, because of on-line shooping, the only shops on the
high street are coffee shops, hairdressers & charity shops, all the other shops
are just hanging on before the inevitable happens.., going forward we should be able
to cherry pick, the best spots on every high street.

This looks to be a very spacious store having taken two vacant units on a very good deal no doubt and knocked them together to make one large store.

I like their Olympic sausage roll promotion outside shops on the A boards, the £1 price will pull people inside.

Good interest in Crawshaws this morning with 154.8K buys. Perhaps the large one will be another director buy.
Any one heard of progress in the Burnley store opening yet?

I went on a trip to Wibsey this morning in the hope of finding our new shop but absolutely nothing happening here in terms of shop fitting activity, but after talking to the locals it turns out they don’t have a single butchers shop, so perhaps they are waiting on a lease but to be honest you have more pubs here than shops and judging on the amount of broken glass on the pavements I’m not sure it’s an ideal location.

It’s also worth mentioning a big Lidl store just outside Wibsey, so someone might have better insight into this location than me.
