Its good to know Richard Rose does not want to dilute his holding by issuing more shares to those greedy institutions. At least that means any party wanting CRAW shares has to buy them in the market.

I have been in four company presentations today so missed the action but I did post six months ago that I expected to see 50p at some point by the end of 2014....Looks like Christmas is coming early!

He was not too specific but mentioned his cattle sheds did not come close to containing as much. It will no doubt be well reported in the press tomorrow morning.

I suspect they have negotiated a big rent reduction on one of their shops but will wait until the AGM to get this confirmed and report back...

LOL playful

I went to their Doncaster store at about 10:50 a.m. last Thursday and then, having spoken with davidosh, watched the video available on the CRAW web-site which was filmed at this store.

I see they have to sell hot food within 2 hours of it being ready. Based on what I saw in store, that is a very large quantity of hot food.

I reckon my purchase of a big bag of chicken from their Bramley store 10 minutes ago just pushed up the price...

Just to remind everyone our AGM is on June 26th – I have witnessed many sandwich platters pass me by in reception so hopefully this year they will be shared amongst shareholders....

Up on low volume always a good sign – I attended the Leeds Mello on Tuesday night and despite Crawshaw not presenting they remained a hot meaty topic of conversation throughout the night.

Just for the record....Crawshaw sausages and steaks will be available to buy tonight at our Mello Monday event in Beckenham and there will be tens of shareholders there.

A shareholder who was passing by the Derby store yesterday on his way down to our Mello event from the highlands of Scotland (what a star ! our longest journey to Mello this month) very kindly offered to pop into the store and buy a variety of sausages for us....15 packs ! and pop them in a cooler box.

I may do a charity auction for them tonight as we have a record attendance likely with over 70 coming to dinner and raise money for a charity selected by one of the Mello investors on the night. All good for Crawshaws.
