The debt isn't really a problem though - only hits sentiment. They dont need to refinance til 2023 and they've said that they'll be down to 1x-2x net debt/EBITDA in 12-18 months. At that point I think you get a re-rating back to historic 15x-18x levels which the mid-term growth justifies. Apply that multiple to earnings in say two years time, and you'll make a very handy profit!

Very quiet on this board, particularly given results were last week.

My view on teh results is that they were in-line with what I was expecting, and guidance is similar to management had given before - 5%-10% medium term growth p.a. though with year to Jun-21 at the lower end of that range. Balance sheet is still more levered than I would like, however it was expected to be levered this year and reducing from mid-year to a sensible 1x-2x net debt/ebitda in 12- 18 months. Given the cashflow from the business, there doesnt seem too much risk at all with this happening.

Therefore given the rather paltry 10x PE compared to historically trading in the 15x range, I think this remains a solid hold for me. Might not rocket up but I think this has potential to get to £12 per share in a 2-3 years (15x * 80p EPS).

Sorry I meant with shares having traded at 1200p approx at best, now around 600p - vulnerable and I wonder if being engineered for a takeout - 900p would look a good starting point - NRI

Dream on value viper. PE could probably succeed at 800-900p given recent performance.
Waiting on Iovance trial using Proleuken to report...this could be an important value driver.

I agree solid but the debt does feel too high still and I think we need to see a meaningful reduction before the starts to move. They have up'd the leverage ration but it is still a year plus before this becomes comfortable for me.

'Solid' is excellent at this moment in time.

Great defensive stock, performing well. Should attract new buyers (as it has me) for these reasons alone. Can see II's buying too.

‘Few companies have been immune to the disruption caused by COVID-19, but Clinigen's performance has remained robust and the Group has delivered double digit organic growth and double digit EPS growth yet again’. A 14% divi increase shows confidence for the future.

Hi all,

My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion covers CLIN which I hold myself. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and as always a fair bit of general Portfolio Management educational stuff. Anyway, if you use Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want TPI Podcast 27) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below.

I hope you enjoy it and find it useful,

Cheers, WD

Right but the Foscavir is one and the same issue as already mentioned above - guiding revenue to the lower part of their previous range
