The greatest concern, according to Investor's Champion, surrounds any potential impact from the launch of a Foscavir generic in the EU, which has no doubt been weighing on the price over recent months.

The shares actually haven’t gone anywhere for 5 years which probably has something to do with the ‘real’ declining returns on equity.

Nice to get the TU this morning - its more positive in tone than I expected and good to see that the market forecasts (which only assume 5% growth) are still appropriate. I maintain that on a 2 year basis these are cheap

Im with AdamB1978.

Fundamentals havent really changed. Still highly profitable. Still highly cash generative. Still high growth rates.

People moan a lot about the debt but they could easy get it down with their cash reserves. But they are doing what's in the best interests of the company rather than pleasing shareholders.

I dont think so (or certainly hope not!). The share price is just lacking near-term impetus but once we get into 2021 and leverage comes off and they start to trend to their stated growth targets I think you'll see the share price recover. I'm still looking for £12 within a couple years

Adam..those recent director buys (from their own pockets) have influenced me to add here. They already get plenty of options (not sure how many) but an interesting move by them. I don't have a concern about debt with so much free flow cash and high margins. Rumours of takeover do need to be taken on board at this share price level and with pharmaceutical companies having a fair bit of Covid bonus cash available. Regards.

Hi Marvelman

I've been holding for a few months however didnt have any expectation of a quick re-rating. They're on course to reduce their leverage by this time next year, and in my view that, plus delivering on a high single digiti % growth rate, will take this towards £12 sort of area.

Badj...it feels like a stake building going on. The dip this morning was quickly bought into and at this level the company (despite its debt) is cheap.

I hope todays rise is a prelude to a sustained push past these lows. Bought in last week at circa £5.70 and saw it fall further before a small bounce back.Hard to believe these were down to the £3.50 level not long ago. I do not like the management who pay themselves too well with options but the company is a very sound business. Ex div 6th Nov for what its worth paying with borrowed money.

Must be about the worst performing pharma co over the last 6 months.
Debt is definitely on the high side...but drop has been on very low volume. Lack of catalysts now I guess.
Interested....
