I wouldnt read much into it at all. Might just be wanting to get people to understand the change in reporting structure before the results come out. A FTSE100 company did similarly about 6 mos ago (cant remember which one) and it looked a little over the top in terms of disclosure but being more open rather than less is probably good
Market did seem to like/accept the TU yesterday. Relief for me given that its the last one before debt start to reduce and growth narrative starts to improve. I'm hopefully that we'll therefore see a gradual grind up from £7 towards £10 over the next 12-18 mos.

14/1/2021 22:42 | I am just wondering why the need to:"The Group expects to publish its results for the six months ended 31 December 2020 on Tuesday 23 February 2021 and ahead of this, Clinigen will issue a reconciliation showing how recent historic trading would have been reported on the new two divisional basis."Probably being thick but why the need to do this?! Maybe some sort of base line so as not to shock the market with the new system of reporting?I was very nervous this morning when the market opened - quite large swings but seemed to settle into a nice rise after having bounced off the 200 MA again.... | badg
14/1/2021 21:14 | Market seemed to warm to the extensive update.
Set itself up for a big H2... | whatja
12/1/2021 18:51 | Ouch.. not a good day - am just hoping it will sit on the 200MA ? | badg
09/1/2021 22:12 | Thanks so much. That's helpful | badg
08/1/2021 18:13 | 15th and 16th Jan in the last couple years, so presumably either end of next week or start of the week after.
I saw some comment on Twitter saying that someone thought the chart looked good. I'm not a chartist at all but note that its just cut up through the 200 DMA and, based on my limited knowledge, the MACD and RSI also look positive | adamb1978
08/1/2021 15:42 | Finally.. small steps upwards. When is the trading update? Can't find it anywhere.Any Chartists that could help with resistance levels/support levels. Thanks | badg
04/1/2021 23:29 | Hi all,
My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion includes CLIN (which I hold myself) and some others with a similar business model. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and Ideas for research and a fair bit of educational stuff with regards to Investing and Portfolio Management.
Anyway, if you use Youtube, Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want Podcast TPI 39) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below.
I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, we try to keep them light and they are totally unscripted, not like all the stuffy financial fodder you are probably more used to !!
Happy New Lockdown !! WD

10/12/2020 21:58 | A symmetrical triangle (3 month view) and any breakout upwards would be very bullish. Fingers crossed. | badg
10/12/2020 21:51 | In my naive Charting knowledge: the 3 month charts are clearly falling highs with a clear line but also rising lows and seems to have converged to a point - or very nearly. So, are we about to have a major movement? ?? | badg
09/12/2020 22:13 | So infuriating at the moment that it won't try and retest 8.50-9.50 area ? | badg
03/12/2020 15:41 | *falling highs | badg
03/12/2020 15:41 | Ouch today but it looks like chart building.. rising lows, falling nights.. narrower triangle, almost there for a huge hike upwards ... that's my naive chartist hope | badg
03/12/2020 07:43 | Yes, HL paid mine on time. | lomax99
02/12/2020 19:41 | was'nt a dividend due today- or was it suspended/delayed? i think it was on the investor chronicle calendar for this week | ali47fish
27/11/2020 12:25 | I think thats factored into the prices EB. The fact that the impact has been delayed isnt unhelpful though as it provides more time for offsettting products to come through | adamb1978
27/11/2020 12:23 | The greatest concern, according to Investor's Champion, surrounds any potential impact from the launch of a Foscavir generic in the EU, which has no doubt been weighing on the price over recent months.
The shares actually haven’t gone anywhere for 5 years which probably has something to do with the ‘real’ declining returns on equity. | energeticbacker
26/11/2020 08:06 | Nice to get the TU this morning - its more positive in tone than I expected and good to see that the market forecasts (which only assume 5% growth) are still appropriate. I maintain that on a 2 year basis these are cheap | adamb1978
20/11/2020 20:02 | Im with AdamB1978.
Fundamentals havent really changed. Still highly profitable. Still highly cash generative. Still high growth rates.
People moan a lot about the debt but they could easy get it down with their cash reserves. But they are doing what's in the best interests of the company rather than pleasing shareholders. | fernagx
20/11/2020 18:31 | I dont think so (or certainly hope not!). The share price is just lacking near-term impetus but once we get into 2021 and leverage comes off and they start to trend to their stated growth targets I think you'll see the share price recover. I'm still looking for £12 within a couple years | adamb1978
20/11/2020 18:21 | Well at this rate back to 600p next week | nerja
20/11/2020 16:51 | Being taken down from 690 to 630 at 10p per day...placing? | marvelman
19/11/2020 11:31 | One hell of a seller here. Frustrating. | marvelman
11/11/2020 13:34 | Looking great from here. They can move quickly.. phew I have a shed load. | badg
10/11/2020 14:58 | Adam..those recent director buys (from their own pockets) have influenced me to add here. They already get plenty of options (not sure how many) but an interesting move by them. I don't have a concern about debt with so much free flow cash and high margins. Rumours of takeover do need to be taken on board at this share price level and with pharmaceutical companies having a fair bit of Covid bonus cash available. Regards. | marvelman
