Yes, I think the share price is factoring in that level of debt being permanent and the company not managing to reduce it this calendar year to the 1x-2x range which they've been talking about for a while now.

Investor's Champion comments:

Net debt of £351.5m looks quite high to us but leverage is expected to reduce significantly over the course of this year. It is also worth emphasising that Clinigen has not participated in any government funding scheme relating to the pandemic and has also been able to maintain an interim dividend of 2.15p.

Hi Cellars

Yes, I had a look through the results this morning, but need a closer look later. Gut feel was that they were what I was expecting with a slight positive comment about current year growth

Market forecasts are for 63p EPS this year growing to 87p in FY23 and I think those figures are very achievable. On that basis, I think £10-£12 share price is eminently achievable within a couple years. The de-gearing over the course of this year I think will help move the share price along, along with the general achievement of results.

There have been regular 3% and more gains recently as it has gone from 700 to 800

The trading update was useful but there has been limited news to drive the price.

Next formal update will be HY reporting in March.

Just for some assistance in support levels and resistance levels.

Why a charter......up 3% in a market down 2% is remarkable.
Not sure why this would happen now but it looks good for better times ahead.

I wouldnt read much into it at all. Might just be wanting to get people to understand the change in reporting structure before the results come out. A FTSE100 company did similarly about 6 mos ago (cant remember which one) and it looked a little over the top in terms of disclosure but being more open rather than less is probably good

Market did seem to like/accept the TU yesterday. Relief for me given that its the last one before debt start to reduce and growth narrative starts to improve. I'm hopefully that we'll therefore see a gradual grind up from £7 towards £10 over the next 12-18 mos.

I am just wondering why the need to:"The Group expects to publish its results for the six months ended 31 December 2020 on Tuesday 23 February 2021 and ahead of this, Clinigen will issue a reconciliation showing how recent historic trading would have been reported on the new two divisional basis."Probably being thick but why the need to do this?! Maybe some sort of base line so as not to shock the market with the new system of reporting?I was very nervous this morning when the market opened - quite large swings but seemed to settle into a nice rise after having bounced off the 200 MA again....

Market seemed to warm to the extensive update.
Set itself up for a big H2...

15th and 16th Jan in the last couple years, so presumably either end of next week or start of the week after.

I saw some comment on Twitter saying that someone thought the chart looked good. I'm not a chartist at all but note that its just cut up through the 200 DMA and, based on my limited knowledge, the MACD and RSI also look positive

Hi all,

My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion includes CLIN (which I hold myself) and some others with a similar business model. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and Ideas for research and a fair bit of educational stuff with regards to Investing and Portfolio Management.

Anyway, if you use Youtube, Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want Podcast TPI 39) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below.

I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, we try to keep them light and they are totally unscripted, not like all the stuffy financial fodder you are probably more used to !!

Happy New Lockdown !! WD

A symmetrical triangle (3 month view) and any breakout upwards would be very bullish. Fingers crossed.

In my naive Charting knowledge: the 3 month charts are clearly falling highs with a clear line but also rising lows and seems to have converged to a point - or very nearly. So, are we about to have a major movement? ??

Ouch today but it looks like chart building.. rising lows, falling nights.. narrower triangle, almost there for a huge hike upwards ... that's my naive chartist hope

was'nt a dividend due today- or was it suspended/delayed? i think it was on the investor chronicle calendar for this week

I think thats factored into the prices EB. The fact that the impact has been delayed isnt unhelpful though as it provides more time for offsettting products to come through
