26/4/2023 10:59 | Thanks cshfool1, future dividends well covered by earnings and a cash pile for acquiring another mine. What's not to like? | melton john
26/4/2023 10:49 | "Up to date data" If a site quotes sterling values as dollars it's worse than useless. How can you rely on anything they say? You have to double check it all, so you might as well go to the horse's mouth in the first place. I suppose maybe if they get some figures right you can use it to get ideas and then go and do your own research, but I don't have the patience to keep using a source that can't even get basic things like currency right, especially if they want to be paid for it. | zangdook
26/4/2023 10:31 | You're right Melton, that's a common confusion of data - and for all sorts of issues. I find dividenddata hxxps://www.dividend Perhaps it's better on a Bloomberg terminal but I don't have access to that at about £20k per year. I would also tend to agree with zangdook that all sites have tend to have issues. Next CAML payout is 10p (on 23rd May) for a total of 20p in the financial year, (yielding 9.09% trailing yield at todays 220p, ie 20p/220p) and I would expect a drop of at least 10p on the sale price after it goes ex-div tomorrow 27th, so last day to get paid the div is today 26th AFAIK, and I've bought another slice. csh | cshfool1
26/4/2023 09:14 | In your opinion perhaps but I've found Stocko has improved my game a lot for a fiver a week. Up to date data to make my own decisions rather than following tips. Each to their own. | melton john
26/4/2023 08:10 | the financial sites are all garbage | zangdook
26/4/2023 07:35 | I think it gets confusing because financial sites such as Stockopedia show figures in dollars for resources stocks. Caml website I'm sure shows pounds. Divi is 10p. | melton john
26/4/2023 07:32 | Would have normally expected this to rise during the week prior to x-div I guess FIL selling down from around 8% to below 5% is perhaps causing further weakness, as we are not sure if they are still actively selling and whether they wish to exit completely? Anyone have further info on this? | return_of_the_apeman
26/4/2023 07:12 | not USD, CAML pays dividends in £ | zangdook
25/4/2023 19:37 | 10p on Thursday. | kael
25/4/2023 19:27 | 0.2 USD div total | 3800
25/4/2023 19:06 | 4.5%? I'm sure I read 20p divi? | loafingchard
25/4/2023 14:28 | Back in caml today, seller offering, what I think, is a great opportunity with added bonus of around 4.5% in dividend when it goes ex dividend on Thursday 👍🏻 | dodger777
21/4/2023 08:38 | Topped up here for the Dividend next Thursday. Looking cheap atm | garycook
21/4/2023 07:57 | It's not a given that they would move. There are something like 15 AIM companies over £1b and 4 over £2b. | zangdook
20/4/2023 14:50 | Has there ever been any mention by the board for a full listing, if aiming for 1bn mcap, caml doesn't really belong in aim. GVC made the move also from AIm after their big acquisition. | kael
20/4/2023 14:42 | I live in hope Kael !! Anyhow, my CAML holding is now complete. Nothing is certain in life, and certainly not Aim stocks, especially those operating in 'exciting' jurisdictions, so I set strict portfolio limits. Its so easy to be seduced by the temptation to buy 'just a few more' when an apparently attractive stock falls in price. | 1knocker
20/4/2023 13:50 | Yield will provide support, historically caml does very well on ex div day, I seem to remember one time it finished up on the day! | kael
20/4/2023 12:15 | I topped up with another 25% at 226.39 this morning. I hope I don't live to regret not waiting for it to go ex div, or for another border flare up. | 1knocker
19/4/2023 06:11 | On today's Dow Jones news .China's economic rebound is still expected to support solid demand for copper this year, RBC recently raised its 2023 copper-price forecast to $4.00/pound from $3.75/pound previously, as China's recovery and tight metal markets outweigh factors, such as slowing growth in other countries and improving production in Peru and Chile. | melton john
17/4/2023 14:25 | In our Q1 Outlook, we forecast higher copper prices in 2023, but also wrote that after the initial rally, driven by traders and speculators preempting a pickup in demand from a recovering China, the hard work begins to support those gains, with an underlying rise in physical demand needed to sustain the rally, not least considering the prospect of increased supply in 2023, as several projects go live. Overall, we see copper trade predominately within the $3.75 to $4.50 range during the coming months, before eventually breaking higher to reach a new record sometime during the second half..... | zho
12/4/2023 17:17 | VSA Capital has a broker note out today for CAML, target price 300p. | bluemango
12/4/2023 07:25 | I had financial trend data in trading view including forecasts showing this trend down near the peek. Every stock becomes overvalued and undervalued as a result. This should start to reverse as net sellers should be out and buyers start coming in. For this reason I have started adding again this morning. Can't pick the bottom but this is near enough. | mrscruff
11/4/2023 09:45 | I can see why the share price has come off. People have done the numbers, and seen H2 22 was well down on H1 22. To date in H1 23, that has continued. If metal prices continue as they are, and following the company's strict adherence to its dividend policy, I'd expect the interim dividend to be cut to 8 pence tops. | pughman |
