Thanks cshfool1, future dividends well covered by earnings and a cash pile for acquiring another mine. What's not to like?

"Up to date data"

If a site quotes sterling values as dollars it's worse than useless. How can you rely on anything they say? You have to double check it all, so you might as well go to the horse's mouth in the first place. I suppose maybe if they get some figures right you can use it to get ideas and then go and do your own research, but I don't have the patience to keep using a source that can't even get basic things like currency right, especially if they want to be paid for it.

You're right Melton, that's a common confusion of data - and for all sorts of issues. I find dividenddata hxxps://www.dividenddata.co.uk/ with previous payouts listed is a better way to present things, or the company website/RNS is often needed to clarify things, even on how the PE ratio is calculated.

Perhaps it's better on a Bloomberg terminal but I don't have access to that at about £20k per year.

I would also tend to agree with zangdook that all sites have tend to have issues.

Next CAML payout is 10p (on 23rd May) for a total of 20p in the financial year, (yielding 9.09% trailing yield at todays 220p, ie 20p/220p) and I would expect a drop of at least 10p on the sale price after it goes ex-div tomorrow 27th, so last day to get paid the div is today 26th AFAIK, and I've bought another slice.

In your opinion perhaps but I've found Stocko has improved my game a lot for a fiver a week. Up to date data to make my own decisions rather than following tips. Each to their own.

I think it gets confusing because financial sites such as Stockopedia show figures in dollars for resources stocks. Caml website I'm sure shows pounds. Divi is 10p.

Would have normally expected this to rise during the week prior to x-div

I guess FIL selling down from around 8% to below 5% is perhaps causing further weakness, as we are not sure if they are still actively selling and whether they wish to exit completely?

Anyone have further info on this?

Back in caml today, seller offering, what I think, is a great opportunity with added bonus of around 4.5% in dividend when it goes ex dividend on Thursday 👍🏻

It's not a given that they would move. There are something like 15 AIM companies over £1b and 4 over £2b.

Has there ever been any mention by the board for a full listing, if aiming for 1bn mcap, caml doesn't really belong in aim. GVC made the move also from AIm after their big acquisition.

I live in hope Kael !!

Anyhow, my CAML holding is now complete. Nothing is certain in life, and certainly not Aim stocks, especially those operating in 'exciting' jurisdictions, so I set strict portfolio limits. Its so easy to be seduced by the temptation to buy 'just a few more' when an apparently attractive stock falls in price.

Yield will provide support, historically caml does very well on ex div day, I seem to remember one time it finished up on the day!
