22/2/2017 14:23 | Legal or not, how could he not know more than you or me. Let's hope he just needs a bigger toy or something innocent. | blowitall

22/2/2017 12:59 | Josef could be selling for Tax reasons? Whatever, just keep in mind his legendary poor timing. He shortchanged himself by 61% on his last large sell. Rebs, i agree with the free bar :-) | sawadee3
22/2/2017 12:47 | Blowitall, yes, always a bit disconcerting. However, bear in mind that he would not be able to legally sell if he was aware of bad news for the company that is not in the public domain. Perhaps he just wants to "blow it all" by buying a big yacht in Monaco for the summer?! | ![]() jfishy55
22/2/2017 12:47 | Re Josef - I wonder who's bought them! - A little concerning although it appears to fly in the face of all we know about the company and the recent record results. | ![]() rebess4
22/2/2017 12:16 | What is he playing at...never like it when big chief sells his company...why? I guess someone is buying so they must think no problem, but its a tad disconcerting. Still have the faith though and looking forward to the div. | blowitall
22/2/2017 12:06 | Saw - If we hit £6.25 I think we'll celebrate with a free-bar. - Free for the first hour at least. - We'll substitute the Advocaat for Egg-Flip, nobody'll notice. | ![]() rebess4
22/2/2017 11:50 | Good morning Rebs, i was getting a little worried if everything was ok at the Rebs Castle. Happy to see you are as confident as ever :-) Looking forward to the £6.25 party! :-) | sawadee3
22/2/2017 11:05 | Morning guys - Morning Saw I haven't abandoned you - no way. - I love the gospel-train-song. - It sits well with the gravy-train song that Centamin is/will be. - As always, mindset/patience is the key to this one. - Such turbulent times are they not? - The fundamentals here are mind-blowing, the stuff dreams are made of. - No further news yet on the cc but events will be unfolding over the coming days and next few weeks I feel. - Keep the faith. - As soon as I hear anything I'll let you know, likewise, I'm sure you'll do the same. - Rebs. | ![]() rebess4

17/2/2017 15:00 | February 7, 2017 Notwithstanding the severe short-term effects of the floating of the pound and structural reforms on both producers and consumers, Egypt is expected to gradually benefit from improved competitiveness and a return of foreign investment to the economy. FocusEconomics panelists expect GDP to expand 3.4% in FY 2017. The panel sees growth of 3.9% in FY 2018. | ![]() rovi70

17/2/2017 10:26 | Sawadee,If you create an ID, I think you can view four FT articles for free each month. The article describes the transformational events in Egypt as the government gets to grips with the domestic issues and the economic strangulation caused by the (now removed) peg to the USD.It would be interesting to know how much of CEY costs are rooted in Egyptian Pounds - I guess local labour is a fair element of their costs, but other things (oil, capital goods, consultants) are effectively imported? Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
