16/2/2017 15:59 | Gold still making those moves on the dancefloor :-) | sawadee3
15/2/2017 12:51 | Josefs last significant sell resulted in a 61% share price increase. He's a great business man but a extremely poor trader :-) | sawadee3
14/2/2017 21:24 | Centamin's principal asset, the Sukari Gold Mine, began production in 2009 and is the first large scale modern gold mine in Egypt. Base case production is c. 500,000 ounces per annum, with the potential to exceed this level as optimisation of the mining and processing operations continues. Advanced exploration projects are located in highly prospective regions within the investor-friendly jurisdictions of Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire. | ![]() gateside

14/2/2017 14:48 | Good to see CEY approaching its 52week high. Would be good to see gold push on... | ![]() jimbowen30
13/2/2017 14:32 | I believe Centamin will have won by the end of April :-) Hopefully Rebs will be along to give more accuracy regarding dates :-) | sawadee3

13/2/2017 09:28 | Usual morning weakness followed by a quick recovery :-) Looking forward to the insta-markup on successful cc and the eventual £6+ per share :-) Happy days chaps :-) | sawadee3
10/2/2017 18:50 | The shares are 60% higher than the last time he sold a block... | ![]() dmitribollokov
10/2/2017 18:33 | "CEY are being conservative" Yes, a policy that has paid dividends in the past, CEY management always seems to under promise and then over deliver. A policy I like :-) | ![]() jfishy55
10/2/2017 16:14 | Unfortunately, we often never know the reason for director selling. There is often a legitimate reason and directors can't trade in closed periods. The share price resilience would indicate there was a willing buyer. I listened to the results call last week and got the impression that CEY are being conservative with annual production forecasts, which is a good thing. They are also making some conservative assumptions relating to fuel costs. In the background, there is ongoing work in Burkino Faso and The Ivory Coast, so should be plenty of newsflow. Most importantly, I hope the court case is resolved once and for all as I still think this would give a further boost to the share price. | ![]() jimbowen30
10/2/2017 16:13 | Directors are limited as to when they can sell and Joseph still holds 43 million shares. | ![]() rhcm
10/2/2017 16:02 | I presume there was a willing buyer, doubtless very willing, hence the share price resilience. | ![]() mikkydhu
10/2/2017 15:59 | Agreed, jfishy55. And dividend only 3 weeks away. Presumably/here's hoping he had personal reasons for sale and it's not related to anything company specific. | ![]() keyno
10/2/2017 15:44 | You'd have thought he'd wait for it to go ex-div. However, he does have many more. Good to see that the price has held up despite it :-) | ![]() jfishy55
10/2/2017 15:27 | Joseph has just sold 10.5 million shares. Edit: notified market of sale of 10.5 million shares. | ![]() keyno
10/2/2017 13:23 | Good to see a continued nice steady tick up here. | ![]() jimbowen30

09/2/2017 12:15 | Yes i'm aware of siko, very informative poster, much like yourself Rebs :-) Those Gold shipments he used to report are truly staggering. Imagine the security needed for those! Our doorman, Mr Til, would take care of it though. No problem :-) | sawadee3
09/2/2017 11:53 | Morning Saw Yes, at last, it seems to be coming to a head. - By the way, the news I received was from Siko an Egyptian poster on the LSE thread. - His info is very reliable, he lives in England, but a lot of his family are living in Egypt. - Any news from Siko is as good as it gets. - I think you will probably already know him - This could be huge. - I'll keep you posted on anything more that I glean. - Rebs | ![]() rebess4
09/2/2017 11:11 | Good morning and thank you Rebs :-) All the worlds eyes are watching the integrity of the Egyptian legal system. I predict that all CEY investors are going to be making rather a lot of money very soon :-) | sawadee3
09/2/2017 10:59 | Good morning everyone. I'm sharing some news I've just had concerning L32 - Apparently the Commissioners are expected to finalise their report to the SCC in the coming days. - The SCC has sittings in March and April so it's possible that they could be considering the commissioners recommendations at these sessions. - It seems to be coming together. - If I hear anything more I'll post the info. - Rebs | ![]() rebess4
08/2/2017 14:30 | Slightly O/T. I attended the Mines and money conference in December and listened to the Grant Williams presentation. It's very insight and would highly recommend everyone listens to it. Williams talks about the reaction to Donald Trump's election and joins a series of dots that may lead to the end of the petrodollar system and a new place for gold in the global monetary system. It's a must listen imo. | ![]() jimbowen30
08/2/2017 13:17 | gold moving along and CEY decides to pause, let's see if the GP can attract decent buys again to push this towards broker targets which IMO stand over £2 DYOR | ![]() qs99 |
