I am intrigued that there has been such a delay on this last update. Oddly I am not ascribing that to the fact that it's the usual incompetence and or general lack of any sort of progress with the drill bit. This time I am wondering if it is because there are some complicated corporate agreements being negotiated (farm in) or that the final checks are being done on some flow results. We live in hope.I recon next week we get something .

Slept in again :)Tomorrow or next week but I'd prefer the latter. He's got soooo much to update on, he's the one with cramp ;), we wish ! Another indifferent one for me ie progress on all assets, prod numbers and CE position. Don't believe they've won at 142 as we'd have had an update so probably trying to fix water ingress issue and everything else will be progress report, maybe SY is getting close to result. There is loads of news due in H1 and very material as we could have results 3 or 4 deeps if you inc B8.

Interesting comment over on LSE re recent BICO tenders, here's last part of this morning's latest:

And now lastly 2 x contracts to provide fire safety services to both sites ...

The contracts on everything else recently have shown to be open for one day, these two fire tenders are open for 12 days.

RNS must be incoming very shortly and with fire services there they look to have found hydrocarbons as water and drilling mud doesn't burn.

Well X a year tomorrow Feb 8th 2023 we hit 7p and i had £51,000 in my Interactive Invester pot. Hold tight i thought this is the year . Om March 2nd we hit 8.3p and it rose up to £60,500 in the account. My holy grail aint massive just 10p and sell for £72,000. Alas it all went wrong the rest of the year and im back at £18,000. In hindsight 60 grand was a good sell but never mind. Any chance of a good rise again this year ??? Who knows wit these clowns running the show.

BM,No guarantees re quality of news but as stated, loads on for 24 so loads of news, let's hope it's finally our year for sone real breakthroughs on both deep and shallow targets.

On the flip side, it does get to the point of almost being like a 'proof of life' when the RNS eventually comes, with relief that it could have been worse (with the jam tomorrow outweighing the perhaps not so good)

As others have pointed out here & elsewhere, the sources of positive updates are almost bonkers in number this year.

Meanwhile, market cap in relation to earnings this year is absurdly undervalued. I'm holding tight whatever.

How long does a company have to announce price sensitive news to the market? In other words if the company is due to produce an update but has not done so then does it mean there is nothing to talk about and when we get this next one it's one more story of jam tomorrow, stuck pipes, slow mud delivery, poor weather, uncommercial flow rate s etc. which I suppose is all news itself.
