Thanks again to Kheldar:

3 New tenders:

26/12/2023

261409027 - £51K - integrated household services at the Elemes Yuzhny field

25/12/2023

261245365 - £123K - services of vehicles for transport of reservoir water from Elemes North-West

261245370 - £7.7K - services of vehicles for transport of reservoir water from Elemes Yuzhny

In my opinion based purely on the tenders I think we will get some good news in next few weeks about well 142 (MJF) and well 805 (south yelemes).

With thanks to Kheldar on LSE:

Two new tenders dated 22/12/2023 for oil transportation showing on bicotender. What is interesting is that there already two tenders still active from 7/12/2023. The value of the tender seems to imply they have either split the tender into two or they have increased oil production by about 50%. Fingers crossed it is the latter.

7th December 2023

tender id: 259468891 for £2.1m for preparation, storage and oil transportation from elemes north west for 2024

tender id: 259468882 for £230K for preparation, storage and oil transportation from elemes yuzhny for 2024

22nd December 2023

tender id: 260965787 for £1.1m for oil transportation from elemes north west field

tender id: 260965779 for £123k for oil transportation from elemes yuzhny field

If you want to see the details go to bicotender and key in tender ids.

Re-Tendor, could be the salt layer?

An important aspect related to the sources of the appearance of COC in oil is noted, namely, one of which is natural, determining some components of crude oil, and the other source is chlorine-containing oilfield reagents used at various stages of oil production, transportation and preparation, as well as products of their thermal and chemical transformations. It is assumed that the formation of COC can occur as a result of hydrochloric acid treatments, hydrolysis of chloride salts, and the interaction of oil components with hydrochloric acid. It is noted that understanding the sources of COC in oil will minimize the risks during its processing. Special tests performed using chromatography-mass spectrometry evaluated the effect of the dosage and nature of the chemical reagents used on the mass fraction of COC in oil. In particular, it was shown that wax solvents containing organochlorine components in working dosages lead to an increase in the content of COC in oil. An important aspect related to the sources of COC appearance in oil is considered. Understanding this aspect will help to minimize the risks associated with organic chlorides during processing. In addition, it is indicated that analytical methods should be developed or modified to control COC in the oilfield reagents used, research should be conducted on the possible generation of COC in the implementation of well acid treatment technologies, and the influence of oil composition on their quantity should be taken into account.

Thanks to Kheldar over on LSE.

New Bicotender dated yesterday, competition ends 8th January:

"For laboratory analysis of prepared oil for the content of organochlorine compound.

Could it be for Block 8 wells or the new 142 interval they are testing?"

K,If they deliver positive news on B8 or any deep, I can see them adding another listing as well as UK.

so far they've needed the uk listing to offshore kaz income (dividends) and possibly other reasons too such as asset transfers.

so although they could easily cancel the listing and swallow the remaining 20% in pi hands for peanuts (£11m) at today's sp, the company would then be a kaz entity and they would have to pay kaz tax on all the income. so roughly speaking its 80% of the income tax free at present, or if delisted then 100% of the income but taxed.

i'm on shaky ground here as i dont have the full facts, but if it is broadly as outlined above then its likely they will maintain the listing, as it is intended to pay dividends asap.

bwdik. it may all be hogwash. dyor.

Waiting to see late reported sells or maybe tomorrow as there were more buys than sells and share price down 7.5%.Clive omitted to talk about B8 and didn't talk about 24, weather, delays etc so I think we may get more news before year end but that's pure speculation. Maybe some corp update too.

smarty, does smack of some activity in the background as you have suggested. anything that doesnt dilute the whole company is fine, eg. the deal they are working on for 802 is good and if it results in successful commercialisation of 802 then the partner is welcome to a share of the profits.

if ko and clan no longer need a public listing for their various strategic asset planning reasons then that would be a worry. if they decide to ditch the listing the pi is done for. just have to hope they hit some success with the drill before that happens, that would enable a reasonable exit for the pi. but hopefully that is not the plan and they keep the listing because they need to see the market value the company properly with drill success - that will give them a stronger negotiating hand down the line.

K,I can't disagree with anything you've said. As has been said many times, this stock isn't for those who are risk averse and made worse by shoite communication. I still maintain that the Orazimans, WCP need this to progress successfully but thst doesn't mean we get success. KO converted $6.4m cash for stock and only had sone of it back with the divi payments. As far as I can see, this is his main venture and he needs it to work ! Lots on as you say but what they say and fo are 2 different things unfortunately.

lack of comprehensive detail disgusting. not a surprise, just par for casp rns.

the 805 side track has started. previous rns 31/10/2023 stated this would not happen until q1 2024, so this is ahead of previously stated target.
which is good because they plan to use the same g20 rig for similar side-tracks in turn at wells 806, 807 and 54.

142 interval failed but already testing another interval at 142.

155 spud previously expected before end nov, rns 31/10/2023, now delayed until after testing at 142 completed. so i'm expecting 155 spud in q1 2024.

141 sidetrack previously expected to start dec 2023, rns 31/10/2023, but not mentioned in this rns.
is it still on for dec 2023 start?

previous rns 31/10/2023 stated work at deep 802 stopped to move rig to deep 803. this rns confirms 803 has been spudded, hope they dont fubar their 7th (or is it 8th or 9th!) deep well. td expected in april 2024.

previous rns 31/10/2023 stated "We are in early stage discussions with specialist international drilling companies to have them bring Well 802 into production on a success basis in return for a revenue split on that well."
what is the status now?

previous rns 31/10/2023 said that deep a7 would be restarted with existing g70 rig from deep a8, but this rns states a newly acquired g70 rig is being used at a7 and drilling has already resumed.

what is the existing g70 rig being used for? is a8 still in play? is the existing g70 continuing at a8?

no news on the 2 deeps at block 8. previous rns 31/10/2023, 7 weeks ago, stated drilling had been completed and they were preparing for testing.
what is status at block 8?

no mention of deep a5. previous rns 31/10/2023 stated a5 sidetrack was waiting on a rig from block 8, expected to commence nov 2023. if drilling at block 8 had been completed 7 weeks ago why has a5 sidetrack not started yet? or has it started?
what is status at a5?

what is the reason for ce 2024 profit going from $15m to "net profit to the Group estimated to be in the range $10 - $15 million" ?

you would never think it from this rns, but ops though not spectacular are humming away reasonably in the background, and there are one or two positives - a new g70 rig at a7, an earlier than previously stated start on 805 which is important because 3 other wells waiting on the 805 rig.

the market reaction this morning is less to do with the failed interval at 142 and everything to do with the irresponsible and shameful lack of detail in the rns.

BB,17 years, I'm 62 going on 63 and I can't say any different !! All I know is that this was a trading opportunity this morning as I've stated. Sentiment is shoite as are comms but if you believe the facts as they present them ! ie 142 second interval being testedB8 wells should have been tested ?803 in progress805 spud, first horizontal on SYA7 work about to be resumed155- last well on MJF to be spud after 142That's 7 wells I'm on progress or about to be. There are more buys than sells but the MMS are playing a game as share price should be up but there's obviously sells that haven't been disclosed as yet. The above work program, maintaining production at 2k and Casper cash means that this will be bought into again as there's a lot on the go regardless of outcome. I don't trust them at all but I remain invested to see the drilling outcomes as long as they're funded to do so and avoid dilution. Im hoping that there's something positive to say on B8 as why the hell did they say they're tearing them and then fail to update. I think we may get more news this year with corp activity update but that's pure speculation. I bought more this am.
